Abstract

The feed has a rigid hopper (1) held on springs (2). At an angle to eject material are hoop shaped parts (5) and at the bottom is a spreader/feeder (6). Under this is a vibrating feed (7) for the hopper contents. A grille trap door (8) is placed across the outlet trough bottom (9) of the feed. This allows pulverised material to flow but holds back lumps. The trap door is moved constantly backwards and forwards to break up any lumps via a spring or counterweight (10) acting against the material flow force.

Description

The present invention relates to an automatic feed hopper, notably for materials which tend to agglomerate.

When you want to feed a machine with an automatic hopper, as c) es materials are perfectly divided and fluid, the flow rate of the hopper is regular and without problem. It is no longer the same when the materials distributed are tending to agglomerate. the flow becomes very irregular, in fact, in the middle of properly divided materials, we find aggregates of all sizes, the largest cause the engorgement and blockage of the feeding machine.

The object of the present invention is to provide a machine which avoids these drawbacks, and which regularly distributes materials which tend to become absorbed.

An automatic feeding machine according to the invention comprises a rigid hopper suspended by elastic blocks, at its lower part, an unclogging device, for example not limiting, a rotary vibrator with counter masses, vigorously agitates the latter. Inside, facing the sortiso placed hoops which prevent the blocking of the hopper. At its base, a vibrating feeder extracts the material. The machine according to the invention is especially charac terized by the presence across the output of the power supply of a harrow with a back and forth movement perpentieulaire to the axis of the output, moreover this harrow, in the direction of the flow of the material, is likely to move back under the thrust of the latter, and therefore, this recoil makes it possible to activate, an electrical contact, and then to start the clogging device each time the material no longer pushes on the harrow.

The appended drawing, given by way of nonlimiting example, will allow a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention.

- Figure I is a schematic longitudinal section of a machine according to the invention.

Fig I.
- Figure 2 is a cross section of the machine in line with the harrow
There is shown in Figures I and 2 an automatic feeding machine that produced according to the invention. This machine has a rigid hopper
I, suspended by elastic blocks 2, in one of the interior angles or with a generator opposite the orifice through which the material comes out, we placed at '1'
interior of the hopper, arches 5.Between the arches, arches are formed
in the material, so much of the material in the ta
crumb is held by the poles 5, below the poles, all this not
as if the material slipped in a tunnel, indeed it does not support the
the contents of the hopper, and therefore it flows freely towards the
exit. At the lower part of the hopper I, a cleaning device6,1
nonlimiting example, a rotary vibrator with eccentric masses, vigorously agitates its walls each time that it is supplied with an electric current pulse. The vaults formed between the arches 5 then collapse, the material passes under the arches, and after the unclogging device stops other arches of material reform between the arches, and the material which is located below s peels easily. Under the hopper I was placed a feeder 7, for example without limitation, a vibrating feeder, which extracts and doses the material to be dispensed. Fig I.

The invention relates more particularly to the harrow 8 placed across the trough 9 of the feeder 7 on the side of its material outlet. The harrow retains clods of agglomerated material, by its incessant transverse movement back and forth it disaggregates them into a mass of fluid material which flows through the space between its lower end and the bottom of trough 9, it thus regulates the flow of material distributed. On the other hand the harrow 8 under the thrust of the material driven by the feeder 7, moves back in the direction of flow, in the absence of material behind the harrow, a device, for example not limiting; 40 / a spring or a counterweight, recall the latter forward thus provoking the
Jv closing of an electrical contact, which by means of a relay starts the unclogging device 6, according to the process described above, the material flows and comes to push on the harrow 8 opening the electrical contact which has the effect of stopping the unclogging device; so we have through the harrow 8 ,. piloting of the unclogging device as well as the reduction of aggregates which cannot cross the barrier constituted by this harrow, the flow of the device is thereby regulated.
