Abstract
L'invention concerne la préparation de dispersions de composés du cérium. Pour préparer une dispersion aqueuse d'oxyde de cérium ou d'oxyde de cérium hydraté, on traite par un acide à chaud de l'hydroxyde de cérium-IV. Les dispersions aqueuses ainsi obtenues peuvent notamment servir à préparer des revêtements denses d'oxyde de cérium destinés à la catalyse et à être des revêtements protecteurs, par exemple pour des métaux et alliages.The invention relates to the preparation of dispersions of cerium compounds. To prepare an aqueous dispersion of cerium oxide or hydrated cerium oxide, cerium-IV hydroxide is treated with a hot acid.
