Abstract

The nose rest piece for spectacles can accommodate variations in the width of the users nose and are independently adjustable. The frame of the spectacles adjacent to the sides of the nose are cut to form a slot (15) following the line of the frame (10). The rests (19) are independent of each other and approximately semi-circular. Attachment to the frame is by a cut-out joint (20, 22) in the rest such that its elasticity allows it to be fitted from the lower side of the frame and to be pushed upwards within the frame slot.
