Abstract

It should be possible to switch off both if there is insufficient liquid additive and if the system pressure in the water network is too low. Furthermore, the proportionally combined mixture is to be able to drain without pressure. Connected in the feed line (1) of the bulk liquid there is a hydraulic motor (2) with a coupled and proportionally driven metering pump (3) for the liquid additive. Mixing is effected upon system separation of bulk liquid and liquid additive. To switch the hydraulic motor (2) on and off, a driven valve (5) is incorporated in the output line of the motor. Fed forward to the valve (5) there is a product deficiency protection (16) for switching off the hydraulic motor (2). Fed forward to the protection (16) there are a level transducer (14), which responds if there is a deficiency of liquid additive and is assigned to the reservoir (12) thereof, and a pressure monitor (17) which responds to the pressure feed (1) of the bulk liquid.
