Abstract

Neat fastening method for joining bottles that are to be placed on sale together, e. g a scent bottle and an atomiser. It is neat, and simple at unfasten but not so readily undone as to encourage shoplifting. The bottles both have round grooves perhaps somewhere in their length, perhaps formed by the edge of a screw cap. A sheet of transparent plastic, which has two openings, is slipped over the bottles as far as the grooves, which it fits into: the plastic is has the necessary stretch. It is moulded to fit round each bottle for a short distance immediately below the groove; if the groove is under a screw cap, the plastic fits over the shoulders of the bottle and a little way down the slides.
