Abstract

The frame has a hollow upright member with two flanges forming a U-shaped recess in its rear face. Hollow horizontal members are connected to the uprights by brackets, the brackets engaging the flanges. Inclined plates (37a) are mounted in the brackets, and are provided with holes through which fixing bolts (37) pass. The brackets are provided with pressed in ramp portions (36, 36A), the axes of the holes being parallel to the ramp surfaces. Wedge blocks are drawn into the brackets by the bolts, and bear on the ramp surfaces and the flanges to secure the frame together.
