Abstract

A hand operated press or juice extractor for use with fruits etc. constructed from two long pivoted arms, the shorter of which acts as a press and sieve section, the longer having a grip with pins or pegs which fit into the holes of the sieve section, has the plate with the pins or pegs (14) attached outside the surface of the press section with the sieve region (4). Teh pins or pegs (14) of the second arm fit into the boles (10) of the sieve section (4) and after the compression of fruit between press and sieve (4) has be concluded the device is pivoted so that the pegs (14) are inserted into the sieve holes (10).
