Abstract
The conveyor comprises several endless belts (1, 1') mounted on edge and spaced apart to provide passageway between them. The outer frame (10) has corresponding curved and setions. All belts are driven by intermeshing gears (18, 18') on one set of end rollers (3, 3'). The phials (16), used for automatic chemical analysis, are fitted into collars (14, 15), these being of high friction material. The assembly is placed in the conveyor, the phial between two belts and the underside of the collar resting on their edges. These drive the phials along the path chosen. At the curved ends, and the outer sections, rebates (12) in the outer frame hold the collars.
