Abstract

The infat seat fro a car has a one piece shell (1) which has slots (5) (6) (7) (8). A belt (9) passes through a slot (6), another (7) and another (8). The belt has two laterla buckles (10) (10') held by quick acting attachments (11) (11') which fix to rings (12) (12') held solidly by a chain (13) to a vehicle fixing (14). The seat is intended for use in the car back seat. Parts of the rear of the child's seat (16) (17) (16') (17') can help to retain the belt. The belt ends are fitted to the rear of the child's seat by variable length adjustment type fixings. The belts are passed through the slots to pass diagonally across the child's chest.
