Abstract
Catalyst consists of (a) Fe, Co and/or Ni as active component and (b) a carrier which is not 1 mixed oxide with a spinel structure and of formula: MAl2O4 (where M is Mg, Mn, Co and/or Ni). The products of the steam-reforming include town gas, and synthesis gas for the prodn. of ammonia or methanol.
