Abstract

The battery is a combination of diffusion anodes having fuel cell properties with electrodes having accumulator properties, which are in electrical contact with each other. When used to drive an electric car, the accumulator supplies the peak load for acceleration and is recharged when the rated fuel cell output exceeds that required by the car.
