Abstract

Una suspensión acuosa que comprende un material de pigmento mineral, y al menos un polisacárido modificado que tiene un grado de carboxilación en el intervalo de 0,6 a 2,0 y una viscosidad intrínseca en el intervalo de 3 a 300 ml/g, en el que el carbono del al menos un polisacárido modificado muestra una velocidad de transformación nuclear de 14C a 14N en el intervalo de 400 a 890 transformaciones por hora y por gramo de carbono, en el que el al menos un polisacárido modificado está presente en una cantidad desde 0,05% en peso a 5,0% en peso, en base al peso total de los sólidos en la suspensión, la viscosidad según el método Brookfield de la suspensión acuosa se encuentra entre 50 y 1500 mPa·s a 20 ºC, y el contenido de sólidos de la suspensión es desde más de 50 a 82% en peso, en base al peso total de la suspensión.
