Abstract
A corrugated hose (7) has sprocket wheels (2,3) with outer cogs matching the space between hose-corrugations, a positioner cooperating with a sensor, and a cutter. The cogs fit into the troughs between the hose-corrugations, and operates together with an indicator (14) as the positioner and connected to a sprocket wheel. The indicator is detected by the sensor. A guide (4) in the form of a hollow cylinder for the corrugated hose is situated near the sprocket wheel. An Independent claim is included for a method for positioning a corrugated hose.
