EL PROCEDIMIENTO OBJETO DE LA PRESENTE INVENCION CONSISTE EN QUE MEDIANTE UNA SUCESION ESPECIFICA DE OPERACIONES SE LOCALIZAN Y SELECCIONAN REGIONES IDONEAS QUE PERMITAN LA AMPLIFICACION ESPECIFICA DE GRUPOS DE GENOMAS ALTAMENTE VARIABLES MEDIANTE EL USO DE POLIMERASAS TERMOESTABLES (RCP). EL PROCEDIMIENTO SE BASA EN UNA COMBINACION DE CRITERIOS TERMODINAMICOS Y CONSIDERACIONES SOBRE LA VARIABILIDAD DE LOS GENOMAS A COMPARAR. DE ESTA MANERA SE SELECCIONAN OLIGONUCLEOTIDOS ALTAMENTE CONSERVADOS ENTRE EL GRUPO DE GENOMAS QUE SE PRETENDE AMPLIFICAR Y QUE PRESENTAN, A SU VEZ, EL MAYOR NUMERO POSIBLE DE DIFERENCIAS DE NUCLEOTIDO FRENTE A OTROS GENOMAS ESPECIFICOS. LA APLICACION DE LA INVENCION AL ANALISIS DE SECUENCIAS GENOMICAS DEL VIRUS DE LA FIEBRE AFTOSA HA PERMITIDO LA SELECCION DE OLIGONUCLEOTIDOS QUE HACEN POSIBLE LA DETECCION ESPECIFICA DE ESTE GENOMA PATOGENO MEDIANTE LATECNICA DE RCP.PROCEDURE FOR THE SELECTION OF OLIGONUCLEOTIDES FOR THE SPECIFIC AMPLIFICATION OF HIGHLY VARIABLE GENOMES. THE OBJECT PROCEDURE OF THE PRESENT INVENTION CONSISTS THAT THROUGH A SPECIFIC SUCCESSION OF OPERATIONS, SUITABLE REGIONS ARE LOCATED AND SELECTED THAT ALLOW THE SPECIFIC AMPLIFICATION OF HIGHLY VARIABLE GENOME GROUPS (USING THERMOESTABLE POLYMERES). THE PROCEDURE IS BASED ON A COMBINATION OF THERMODYNAMIC CRITERIA AND CONSIDERATIONS ON THE VARIABILITY OF THE GENOMES TO COMPARE. IN THIS WAY, HIGHLY PRESERVED OLIGONUCLEOTIDES ARE SELECTED AMONG THE GROUP OF GENOMES THAT ARE INTENDED TO AMPLIFY AND WHICH, IN turn, HAVE THE GREATEST POSSIBLE NUCLEOTIDE DIFFERENCES AGAINST OTHER SPECIFIC GENOMES.
