Ebenfalls unterhalb der Kochfläche 12 angeordnet und somit gestrichelt dargestellt ist die Steuereinheit 20. Die Steuereinheit 20 ist dazu vorgesehen, zumindest einen Vorschlag für eine Gruppierung der von den Kochgeschirrelementen 18 bedeckten Induktoren 14 in ein oder mehrere Heizzonen 24 auszugeben und auf der Anzeigeeinheit dem Endnutzer durch ein charakteristisches Merkmal zu kennzeichnen. Dabei ist die Steuereinheit 20 dazu vorgesehen, die jeweiligen Heizzonen mit einem für die jeweilige Heizzone 24 charakteristischen optischen Merkmal, insbesondere einem farblichen Merkmal, zu kennzeichnen. Hat die Steuereinheit 20 beispielsweise die Induktoren in drei unterschiedliche, räumlich getrennt angeordnete Heizzonen 24 gruppiert, so gibt die Steuereinheit 20 die drei Heizzonen 24 in drei verschiedenen Farben aus. Zudem weist die Kochfeldvorrichtung 10 eine Einstelleinheit 28 auf, die in zumindest einem Betriebszustand zu einem separaten Einstellen einer Heizleistung der angezeigten Induktoren 14 vorgesehen ist. Die Einstelleinheit 28 ist im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel teilweise einstückig mit der Steuereinheit 20 ausgebildet. In diesem Betriebszustand kann über die Einstelleinheit 28 eine Heizleistung von jedem der durch die Steuereinheit 20 auf der Anzeigeeinheit 22 angezeigten Induktoren 14 getrennt und somit unabhängig von den anderen angezeigten Induktoren eingestellt werden. Dies kann für einen ersten der angezeigten Induktoren 14 durch Betätigung von mehreren an der Anzeigeeinheit 22 angeordneten Einstellelementen 50 erreicht werden, welche jeweils mit einer arabischen Zahl beschriftet sind (vgl.
Zudem weist die Kochfeldvorrichtung 10 eine Einstelleinheit 28 auf, die in zumindest einem Betriebszustand zu einem separaten Einstellen einer Heizleistung der ein oder mehreren Heizzonen 24 vorgesehen ist. - Hotplate apparatus with a plurality of inductors (14, 14b) arranged below a cooking surface (12, 12b), with a pot recognition system (16, 16b) for detecting one or more cookware elements (18, 18b) placed on the cooking surface (12, 12b), with a control unit (20, 20b) for actuating the inductors (14, 14b) and with a display unit (22, 22b), wherein the control unit (20, 20b) is provided to output at least one characteristic variable of the inductors (14, 14b) covered by the cookware elements (18, 18b) in order to initiate a selection process,
