Die erfindungsgemäße Pressvorrichtung dient dem radialen Verpressen von Werkstücken, insbesondere von Rohren bzw. von Fittirigs auf miteinander zu verbindenden Rohren. Die im Prinzip beliebig geformten Werkstücke sollen dabei eine zentrale Region aufweisen, zu der die von außen auf das Werkstück wirkenden Presskräfte gerichtet sind. In diesem Sinne stellt die genannte Region einen "Mittelpunkt" dar, in Bezug auf welchen der "radiale" Verlauf des Verpressens zu verstehen ist. Die Pressvorrichtung enthält die folgenden Komponenten:
- Einen um das Werkstück legbaren Rahmen, welcher das Werkstück teilweise oder vorzugsweise vollständig umschließen kann.
- Mindestens eine beweglich innerhalb des genannten Rahmens angeordnete Pressbacke, die zur Unterscheidung von optionalen weiteren Pressbacken im Folgenden als "primäre Pressbacke" bezeichnet wird. Unter einer "Pressbacke" ist dabei im Rahmen der vorliegenden Anmeldung allgemein ein Bauteil zu verstehen, das während des Pressvorganges mit einem Werkstück in Kontakt kommt und Presskraft auf das Werkstück überträgt. Typischerweise sind Pressbacken an der Kontaktfläche zu einem Werkstück in bestimmter Weise konturiert, um dem Werkstück eine entsprechende Kontur aufzuprägen.
- Mindestens einen Kolben, welcher in einem mit dem Rahmen gekoppelten Zylinder derart beweglich gelagert ist, dass er unter der Einwirkung eines Hydraulikfluids Druck auf die primäre Pressbacke ausüben kann. Die Ausübung des Druckes kann dabei unmittelbar durch Kontakt des Kolbens mit der primären Pressbacke erfolgen, oder auch mittelbar unter Zwischenschaltung weiterer Komponenten/Bauteile zwischen Kolben und primärer Pressbacke. Des Weiteren soll die Ausübung des Druckes so geschehen, dass die primäre Pressbacke hierdurch in Pressrichtung bewegt wird, d. h. radial einwärts in Bezug auf das Werkstück.

Beim Einsatz der dritten Pressvorrichtung 300 wird zunächst wie üblich ein zu verpressendes Werkstück wie beispielsweise ein Fitting in den Pressraum R eingeführt. Sodann werden die beiden Kolbenträger 360, 360' über die Bolzen 362 angekoppelt und mit Druck aus einer Hydraulikzuleitung (nicht dargestellt) beaufschlagt, wodurch sich ihre Kolben K1 gleichmäßig in Pressrichtung bewegen. Über die Stempel 364 wird diese Bewegung auf die primäre Pressbacke 340 übertragen, während sich gleichzeitig der restliche Kolbenträger 360, 360' über die Wangen 363 an den Seitenbügeln 320, 320' des Rahmens "festhält". Im Ergebnis entsteht dadurch eine Bewegung der primären Pressbacke 340, die radial einwärts zur gegenüberliegenden, feststehenden Pressbacke 310 gerichtet ist.When using the third

Claims (14)
- Pressing device (100, 200, 300) for the radial pressing of workpieces, containing:- a frame (110, 120, 120', 150; 210, 220, 220', 250; 310, 320, 320') capable of being laid around the workpiece;- at least one primary press jaw (140, 240, 340) which is arranged movably inside the frame and which can be applied to the workpiece during the pressing operation;- at least one piston (K1, K2, K3) which is movably mounted in a cylinder (Z1, Z2, Z3) coupled to the frame, in such a way that the said piston can exert pressure upon the primary press jaw under the action of a hydraulic fluid,characterized in that the piston (K1, K2) and the cylinder (Z1, Z2) are arranged in a piston carrier (160, 360, 360') which can be coupled reversibly to the frame (150, 320, 320') for each pressing operation.
- Pressing device (300) according to Claim 1,
characterized in that the frame parts form an open chain which is closed by the primary press jaw. - Pressing device (100, 200, 300) according to at least one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that it contains a quick-action coupling (161, 261, 361) for coupling a hydraulic supply line to the cylinder (Z1, Z2, Z3). - Pressing device (100, 200, 300) according to at least one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that the primary press jaw (140, 240, 340) is arranged such that it is displaced by the piston (K1, K2, K3) solely in the radial direction with respect to the centre point of the frame (110, 120, 120', 150; 210, 220, 220', 250; 310, 320, 320'). - Pressing device (100, 200, 300) according to at least one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that the frame consists of a plurality of parts (110, 120, 120', 150; 210, 220, 220', 250; 310, 320, 320'), in particular of two transverse shackles (110, 150, 210, 250) and two side shackles (120, 120', 220, 220'). - Pressing device (100, 200, 300) according to Claim 5,
characterized in that the frame has a transverse shackle (110, 210, 310) which is mounted pivotably at one end (G) and which is connected releasably at the opposite end (V) to the nearest frame part (120, 220, 320). - Pressing device (100, 200, 300) according to at least one of the preceding claims,

characterized in that the secondary press jaw (130, 130', 230, 230', 330, 330') is in contact with the primary press jaw (140, 240, 340) and/or with the frame (110, 210, 310) via active surfaces (W1, W2, W3, W4) in such a way that, during a pressing movement of the primary press jaw, the secondary press jaw is moved radially inwards. - Pressing device (100, 200, 300) according to at least one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that a first active surface (W1) is formed on the frame (110, 210, 310) and a further active surface (W4) is formed on the primary press jaw (140, 240, 340), these active surfaces forming an angle (α) with one another, and the intersection point of the active surfaces moving radially inwards during a pressing movement of the primary press jaw. - Pressing device (300) according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the frame contains two side shackles (320, 320') which are coupled by means of a transverse shackle (310) and by means of the primary press jaw (340).
- Pressing device (300) according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least two separate piston carriers (360, 360') are present, which can be coupled reversibly to different parts (320, 320') of the frame.
- Pressing device (100, 300) according to at least one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that at least one piston carrier (160, 360, 360') is present, which can be coupled to the frame (150, 320, 320') by means of a bolt (162, 362). - Pressing device (300) according to Claim 13,
characterized in that the piston carrier (360, 360') has a movable plunger (364) with a slot (365) through which the bolt (362) can engage.
