Der Abstand x zwischen dem Anfang 20 des einen Gewindegangs und dem Ende 21 des anderen Gewindegangs beträgt 5 mm. Wie aus Figur 7 hervorgeht, ist das Gewinde bei der gezeigten Ausführung ferner als Trapezgewinde mit einem Flankenwinkel von 30° ausgebildet. Das Schnellverschlussgewinde kann aber auch als Rundgewinde, Spitzgewinde oder mit einen anderen geeigneten Profil ausgeführt sein. Der Außendurchmesser d des Außengewindes beträgt zwischen 100 und 110 mm, vorzugsweise 104,6 mm. Der Kerndurchmesser D des Außengewindes beträgt zwischen 90 und 105 mm, vorzugsweise 101,7 mm. Claims (11)

  1.   2. Gravity cup according to claim 1, characterised in that the threaded wedge element (8) is formed by a groove (9) with a screw face (10) running obliquely in the circumferential direction.
  3. Gravity cup according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the connecting stub (5) comprises an additional thread (7).
  4. Gravity cup according to claim 3, characterised in that the connecting stub (5) comprises an end stop face (12) to limit the depth to which it is screwed in when the thread (7) is used for fastening the gravity cup.
  5. Gravity cup according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a shoulder (16) with a contact face (17) is provided in the interior of the connecting stub (5) .
  6. Gravity cup according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the container (1) and the lid (2) can be connected hermetically to one another by means of a quick-closure thread (18, 19).
  7. Gravity cup according to claim 6, characterised in that the quick-closure thread (18, 19) is a quadruple coarse thread with external thread turns (18) on the upper outside circumference of the container (1) and corresponding internal thread turns (19) on the inside of the lid (2).
  8. Gravity cup according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the quick-closure thread (18, 19) has a pitch of 20 mm.
  9. Gravity cup according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that on the inside of the lid (2) there is a wedge-shaped sealing ledge (22) which bounds a wedge-shaped annular groove (23) for receiving the upper edge (24) of the container between its outside and the inside of the lid (2).
  10. Gravity cup according to claim 9, characterised in that the sealing ledge (22) exhibits a sufficient height to catch paint which is in the lid (2) when the lid (2) is removed.
  11. Gravity cup according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that an insert can be placed in the container (1).
