Description

The invention relates to a device for filling and removal of containers for sorted consignments according to the preamble of claim 1.

In sorting machines for flat consignments, the consignments are sorted according to the destinations (address) in sorting compartments arranged along a sorting path and designated as sorting stations. As soon as a sorting bin is filled with consignments during the sorting operation, it must be emptied. The items are manually removed from the bin and placed in a container located on a holder. Each bin has such a bin. For filling, the container is pulled out transversely to the sorting section. The staff stands on the side of the container before the preceding or subsequent sorting. Until a container is finally filled, there may be several fillings.
Once the container is completely filled, it must be removed ( DE 199 61 513 C1 )
This often happens manually. The filled container is lifted and placed, for example, on an opposite conveyor or on a shelf. This activity is physically exhausting due to the weight of the filled containers.
Therefore, facilities have been known which reduce the burden on the staff when filling and removing the filled containers ( EP 1 243 349 A1 . DE 199 01 444 C1 ). However, these are only suitable for sorting machines with sorting stations in a row. If the sorting machine has two rows of sorting points arranged one above the other, the known solutions are not to be used, since for the second sorting end point no container is available at the same point on the sorting line.

The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a device that allows in a sorting machine with two superimposed rows of Sortierendstellen emptying the sorting in containers and their intermediate storage or removal with little physical effort.

According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
Below each two superimposed sorting end points is an extendable holding mechanism for receiving two containers in a row, which is half extendable to fill the front container or completely to fill the rear or both containers.
As a result, two containers are ergonomically available to the surgeon for filling both sorting points located one above the other without hindering the rest of the sorting process.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are set forth in the subclaims.

Thus, it is advantageous if the holding mechanism in the fully extended state in approximately the same height to the storage and transport device, which runs as a transport path parallel to the successively arranged sorting end points, adjacent. As a result, the transfer of the container on the transport path is easy without effort possible.

It is also advantageous to carry out the holding mechanism as a telescopic extension mechanism.

In order to realize the holding mechanism with respect to the displacement of the container on the holding mechanism with little effort, It is advantageous to execute the soil flat and with a low coefficient of friction.

In order to prevent accidental displacement of the container in the holding mechanism during the extraction of the holding mechanism, the holding mechanism advantageously has a frame with rotatable rollers on which the containers are stored and the storage and transport device towards or away from the storage and transport device on the Retaining mechanism are displaceable. The rollers are arranged in height so that each container is inclined in the rest position to a stop.
It is ergonomically particularly advantageous if each container in the rest position, held on the stop, is inclined to the storage and transport device.

It is also advantageous to mount in the direction of rotation last roles for each container in the rest position increased so that they serve as a stop, so that special attacks can be saved.

Subsequently, the invention will be explained with reference to the drawing in an embodiment.

As in FIG. 1 1, the sorting device 1 has two rows of juxtaposed sorting compartments 2, 3 arranged one above the other. For each two sorting compartments 2, 3 arranged one above the other, the sorting device 1 below the sorting compartments 2, 3 has a holding mechanism 4 on which two containers A, B 9, 8 are arranged in succession for receiving the items from the sorting compartments 2, 3. The destination addresses to which statistically most frequently broadcasts are sent are assigned to the lower sorting compartments 3 for ergonomic reasons, and in the upper sorting compartments 2 the items are sorted for those destination addresses which do not receive broadcasts so frequently, ie the sorting compartments 2 are not so frequent must be emptied by an operator.
The holding mechanism 4 is extendable with a telescopic extension maximum up to a parallel to the sorting rows arranged transport roller conveyor 10 as a storage and transport device, from where they are fed to other stations in the overall processing process.
If one of the sorting compartments 2, 3 reaches a certain degree of filling, a signal is generated by means of a level sensor triggered and the surgeon empties the bin in a container A, B 9.8.
To keep the manual effort here as well as when transferring to the transport roller conveyor 10 as low as possible, the items are loaded from the lower bin 3 (frequent change) in the front container A 9 and the items from the upper bin 2 in the rear container B 8. As can be seen, the containers 8, 9 are mounted on / on the rollers 5, 6, 7 in such a way that they are inclined in the direction of the transport roller conveyor 10 and abut against the roller 7 which is in the foremost direction in the direction of the transport roller conveyor 10. These rollers 7 can be arranged so that they receive both a weight component and a directed to the transport roller conveyor 10 force component. It is also possible to arrange these rollers 7 so that they support only the container bottom and attach an additional stop. By this roller arrangement, the container on the holding mechanism during its movement a safe and stable position.
When the sorter 3 has reached a corresponding degree of filling, it must be emptied. For this purpose, the holding mechanism 4 must be pulled out, which is indicated by the arrow.
Since the mailings are to be loaded into the container A 9, according to FIG. 2 the holding mechanism 4 pulled out halfway, so that the programs can be conveniently stacked by the surgeon in the container A 9. Due to the inclination of the container 8,9 and the items in the container have a relatively stable position to the front narrow side wall of the container.
Subsequently, the container A 9, if it is full, moves by further pulling the holding mechanism 4 to the transport roller conveyor 10, or if it is not full, pushed back under the sorting compartments 2,3, which is indicated by two-headed arrow.
Corresponding FIG. 3 the upper sorting compartment 2 is filled so that it is to be emptied into the container B 8. For this purpose, the holding mechanism 4 is fully extended and the container B 8 loaded. Since no container is 8.9 full, they will again pushed under the sorting compartments 2,3 and cached.
If the lower sorting compartment 3 has been emptied into the container A 9 and the container A 9 is full, the container A 9 is lifted above the roller 7 and pulled onto the transport roller conveyor 10 (FIG. FIG. 4 ).
In the FIG. 5 is shown that then the container B 8, after it has been completely filled from the sorter 2, also pulled from its rear position on the conveyor roller conveyor 10.
If the container B is first filled completely before the front container A 9 is full, it must be lifted past the container A 9 on the conveyor roller conveyor 10.
After the one or more full containers A, B 9,8 have left the holding mechanism 4, empty containers are placed on the holding mechanism 4, which is then pushed back under the sorting compartments 2,3.
