L'objet de l'invention vise à remédier aux inconvénients de l'art antérieur en
proposant une nouvelle technique pour laquelle, d'une part, chaque chariot isotherme
de transport et de distribution de plateaux-repas embarque une capacité de froid
autonome suffisante pour assurer son maintien à une température froide pendant une
durée relativement longue, et d'autre part, la puissance frigorifique nécessaire au
refroidissement d'une flotte de chariots est diminuée par rapport aux solutions
connues.
L'objet de l'invention vise à proposer un nouveau chariot isotherme comportant :
- une enveloppe isolante accessible par au moins une porte et délimitant au moins un compartiment fermé muni intérieurement de moyens de support en position superposée de plateaux-repas,
- des moyens de production de froid à l'intérieur du compartiment comportant au moins un bac de réception de CO2 adapté pour refroidir un fluide réfrigérant,
- et des moyens de remise en température des plateaux-repas.
