Curtain rail according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a tension member channel (33), in which the tension members (10a, 10b) are supported, is formed in each of the tube portions (1a, 1b) at a distance, in the direction opposed to that of the load, from the central axes (M) of said tube portions.
  7. Curtain rail according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the support (2) is formed symmetrically about a vertical plane, and the directions of connection of the two tube portions (1a, 1b) are perpendicular to this plane.

Curtain rail according to either claim 8 or claim 9, characterised in that the tube portions (1a, 1b) consist of a cylindrical tube, and the bearing member (6) of the support (2), with the exception of the fastening region thereof, has a cylindrical shape which adjoins, in a flush manner, the outer circumference of the fixed ends (7a, 7b) of the tube portions (1a, 1b).
  11. Curtain rail according to any one of claims 8 to 10, characterised in that the support (2) is formed in the manner of a bracket which can be attached to the wall or ceiling, and has a bracket plate (5) along the front edge of which the bearing member (6) is arranged.
  12. Curtain rail according to claim 11, characterised in that the length of the bearing member (6) of the support (2), excluding the pins (13a, 13b) protruding therefrom, is equal to the width of the bracket plate (5).

Curtain rail according to any one of claims 9 to 12, characterised in that the bearing member (6) or the bracket plate (5) has, on its rear fastening side, a fastening profile (23), which is arranged, so as to be removable therefrom, in a recess (26) of an associated wall plate (24), the fastening profile (23) having, at least on one side, a web (29) projecting sideways and arranged towards the back of the fastening profile, and the wall plate (24) being provided with straining screws (30) overlapping the front of this web (29).
  14. Curtain rail according to claim 13, characterised in that the fastening profile (23) and the recess (26) of the wall plate (24) have an elongate form, and the longitudinal side (31), opposite the straining screws (30), of the fastening profile (23) can be fixed against a protruding edge region (27) of the recess (26), which edge region extends with convex curvature in the longitudinal direction of the recess (26).
