    the first element (27) having V-shaped valleys on a peripheral surface, each adapted to cooperate with a V-shaped solid portion on a peripheral surface of the recess;
    the first element (27) further comprising a first key coding means (32) which can cooperate with a second key coding means (64) of the second element (60) by means of complementary shaping;
    characterized in that the first element (27) comprises a hub (29), arms (30) and arches (31), the hub (29) having the key coding means (32), each arch (31) being outwardly convex and being connected to the hub (29) via two arms (30), each V-shaped valley having its point located at the junction of the outer surfaces of two adjacent arches (31), each arch (31) being deformable and capable of flexing elastically towards the hub (29) into a space (33) existing between the hub (29) and the two arms (30) connecting it to the hub (29), by means of which said predetermined position of the first key coding element (27) can be selected when assembled in the first portion (1).

  8. A device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that one of said first portion (1) or second portion (2) is a base and the other of said first portion (1) and second portion (2) is a cartridge which can be fitted on the base.
