Abstract

The device has at least one ink chamber at least partly filled with a porous ink absorbing material (1) and with an opening (3) for ink to be output from the chamber and a valve body (4). The valve body is arranged to be held in a closed position in which no ink can escape from the container by the elastic properties of the porous ink absorption material.
