Abstract

A receiver has an adder (4) for output intermediate-frequency signals from a plurality of receiving blocks, a demodulator (5), adjustable reference-signal generator (8) for supplying phase-shifted reference signals to PLL circuits (19,25,31) of the plurality of receiving blocks, and a plurality of switches (12,13,14). The switches are controlled such that, when power is turned on, the frequency-divided reference signals to the PLL circuits are in phase with one another. The adjustable reference-signal generator, upon tuning on power, is set to the phase-shift stored immediately before the power was turned off.
