For this purpose, the collecting conveyor 30 is designed as an endless conveyor with a A large number of adjacent receptacles or chambers 33 each for a number or row 31, 32 of objects 10, 11, 12 positioned one above the other. The chambers 33 are essentially formed from a U-shaped profile, ie shaft-like designed. Lateral chamber walls 34, 35 are arranged at a distance from one another, which is slightly larger than the diameter or the transverse dimension of an object 10, 11, 12. The chambers 33 are arranged on an endless support 36, that runs over deflection rollers. The carrier 36 can be a (toothed) belt or a link chain his.

Die aus den Kammern 33 austretenden Gegenstände 10, 11, 12 bilden jeweils eine Gruppe 15, 16, 17.The chambers 33 of the collecting conveyor 30 are in accordance with the size of the to be formed Group 15, 16, 17 filled. In the example according to FIGS. 8 and 9, there are chambers 33 with a row 31 of five and other chambers 33 with a row 32 three objects 10, 11, 12 filled. Groups 15, 16, 17 are formed by that the rows 31 or 32 in the transverse direction from several adjacent Chambers 33 pushed out and combined into a group. To this end are associated with the collecting conveyor 30 drivers 37, 38, which with fingers 39, 40 in the Enter chambers 33. The fingers 39, 40 are designed so that they over the extend the entire height of the chambers 33 and have a width that is significantly smaller is as the width of a chamber 33. The comb-like drivers 37, 38 are across the collection conveyor 30 through a number of adjacent chambers 33 moves through taking the items stored within these chambers 33 10, 11, 12. The objects 10, 11, 12 emerging from the chambers 33 each form a group 15, 16, 17.

Since the collecting conveyor 30 preferably continuously in the direction of the arrow shown is driven, the drivers 37, 38 during the ejection movement of the objects 10, 11, 12 moved synchronously with the collecting conveyor 30, so that the extension process is superimposed with the conveying movement of the collecting conveyor 30.

Förderbahn parallel zum Sammelförderer 30.The groups 15, 16, 17 formed with the aid of the drivers 37, 38 can be in any Way processed, especially directly in a folding box 18 or other Packaging containers are inserted. In the present embodiment a group conveyor 41 is provided as an intermediate conveyor. This consists of one endless conveyor belt 42 with receptacles for one group 15, 16, 17. It is about are pockets 43 which are approximately U-shaped in cross section. To yourself The pockets are open in the conveying direction of the long sides. The way trained group conveyor 41 runs in a plane or conveyor track parallel to Collective conveyor 30.

The pockets 43 of the group conveyor 41 are dimensioned such that one from each Collective conveyor 30 pushed out group 15, 16, 17 fittingly takes place in one of the pockets 43. The groups 15, 16, 17 are in through the group conveyor 41 transported in the same conveying direction, in particular (also) continuously.

During transport by the group conveyor 41, the groups 15, 16, 17 one after the other in the transverse direction out of the pockets 43 and in ready-made folding boxes 18 inserted. The folding cartons 18 are on a carton conveyor (in detail not shown) positioned so that a folding box at least temporarily is positioned adjacent to a pocket 43 of the group conveyor 41. An open one Side of the folding box 18 is facing the respective pocket 43. During transportation is the group 15, 16, 17 out and out of the pocket 43 by extending movement inserted into the associated folding box 18. For this purpose, each pocket is 43 assigned a cross-movable slide 44. The slider 44 are synchronized with the Group conveyor 41 moves. The path of movement of the objects 10, 11, 12 and the Groups 15, 16, 17 are identified in particular by arrows 45 in FIG. 5.

The chambers 33 of the collecting conveyor 30 are filled in a special way Objects 10, 11, 12 are transferred from the individual conveyor 24 directly to the assigned one Transfer conveyor 30. For this purpose it is in a relative position positioned below the single conveyor 24 (Fig. 8, Fig. 9). The delivery of the items 10, 11, 12 takes place in the region of a deflection of the belt 28, that is to say in the region a deflecting roller 46 of the same. The objects 10, 11, 12 are due to the Own weight released by the troughs 29 in the area of the deflection. Through the Deflection, the troughs 29 are opened slightly, so that the release of the objects 10, 11, 12 is guaranteed. The relative position between individual conveyor 24 and Collection conveyor 30 is set so that the selected number of items 10, 11, 12 - for example five objects in Fig. 8, 9 - in succession in get the same chamber 33 by falling movement. An exact transfer movement to ensure the objects 10, 11, 12, a guide member is provided, namely two spaced-apart guide plates 47, 48. These are precisely aligned to the bag to be filled and connected to the single conveyor 24.

The collecting conveyor 30 becomes continuous while the objects 10, 11, 12 are being picked up advanced. The individual conveyor 24 or its deflecting roller 46 follows the Conveying movement of the chamber 33 to be filled (arrow 49). If the chamber in question 33 is filled (FIG. 9), the individual conveyor 24 is moved in opposite directions by the Deflection roller 46 (arrow 50) into a position above the next chamber 33 emotional. The guide plates 47, 48 follow this movement. The control of the individual conveyor 24 and the collecting conveyor 30 are so coordinated that by the horizontal movement of the individual conveyor 24 indicated by arrow 50, namely by the time of the reversal movement, the number of to be fed into the respective chamber 33 Objects 10, 11, 12 is determined.

Another special feature is the handling of objects 10, 11, 12, groups 15, 16, 17 or sub-groups in the formation of complex groups. The device shown in FIG. 3 is designed such that the units 25, 26, 27 of a maker 21, 22, 23 can be supplied with objects 10 or 11 or 12. From this "Sorted" groups 15, 16, 17 formed are introduced into the folding cartons 18.

Another unit 51 is used to form and process complex groups, namely collection groups 52 each from groups 15 and / or 16 and / or 17 of the objects 10, 11, 12. Such a group 52 corresponds, for example, to the content a folding box 18 corresponding to FIG. 2.

The units are used to compile such complex collection groups 52 25, 26, 27 with each other and with the unit 51 via a continuous, endless connection conveyor 53 connected with each other in terms of funding. This endless link conveyor 53 is designed so that arcuate conveying sections are possible. For this purpose, the connection conveyor 53 is preferably designed as a link belt or has a hinge chain 54 (FIG. 6). The hinge chain 54 consists of individual chain links 55, which are interconnected by joints and thus enable a redirection in the conveyor level. On the endless funding body, namely the flat top chain 54, are receptacles for individual objects 10, 11, 12 or for rows 31, 32 of objects 10, 11, 12 arranged one above the other attached, each having a cross-sectionally U-shaped bracket 56 on a chain link 55. The side and top open brackets 56 are dimensioned so that the find larger objects 12 in diameter or in transverse dimension can.

The connection conveyor 53 is loaded with objects 10, 11, 12 that in Area of unit 51 finished collection groups 52 are available for further processing, especially for loading appropriately designed folding boxes 18. The unit For this purpose, 51 is designed analogously to the units 25 .., namely with one Group conveyor 41 as intermediate conveyor. In this or in pockets 43 of the same the collecting groups 52 are inserted and then on the folding boxes 18 in the pass described manner. The connection conveyor 53 is for this purpose Driver 57 assigned, which is designed like the driver 37, 38 and the Collection group 52 out of the connection conveyor 53 in the manner described slides into a pocket 43 of the group conveyor 41. The driver 57 points accordingly, finger on to grasp the rows 31, 32 in the holders 56.

The compilation of the collecting groups 52 for the connection conveyor 53 takes place in in a special way, namely through the participation of those upstream in the direction of funding Units 25, 26, 27. Objects form objects to form groups or sub-groups 10, 11, 12 pushed out laterally by the carriers 37, 38 from the chambers 33. In the present embodiment, the driver 37 is used to push out the Groups 15, 16, 17 of matching objects 10, 11, 12. The second driver 38 is effective in the opposite (transverse) direction, namely serves to eject a sub-group from the collecting conveyor 30 for delivery to the Link conveyor 53. The number of times through the driver 38 to the link conveyor 53 transferred items 10, 11, 12 or rows 31, 32 is dependent on the composition of the group 52 to be formed. Each unit 25, 26, 27 delivers such a sub-group for the group 52. In the example shown (Fig. 3) are in the first unit 25 two rows 31, 32 of the objects 10 to the Transfer connection conveyor 53. In the area of the unit 26, three are side by side Rows of items 11 added so that the ones in question Rows are positioned immediately adjacent to the rows of items 10 (Fig. 5). Finally, a group of objects 12 is added in the area of unit 27, and here from four adjacent rows. The corresponding carriers 38 are adapted to the number of rows in terms of the number of fingers. Of Furthermore, the connection conveyor 53 is in terms of the arrangement of the holders 56 formed so that successive collection groups 52 of the required in the unit 51 Composition arrive.

Faltkartons 18 unterschiedlichen Inhalts. Die angegebenen Prozentzahlen sind Beispiele. Apparatus according to Claim 6, characterized in that the articles (10, 11, 12) can be transferred by the individual conveyor (24), in the region of a deflected portion of the same, to the collecting conveyor (30), which is arranged beneath the individual conveyor (24), in particular by way of a downwardly directed dropping movement, into an available chamber (33), it being possible for the deflected portion of the individual conveyor (24) or a deflecting roller (46) of the latter to be moved synchronously with the collecting chamber (30), and in the direction of the same, such that a selectable number of articles (10, 11, 12) can be introduced one after the other into a chamber (33).
  8. Apparatus according to Claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the receiving means or chambers (33) of the collecting conveyor (30) are open on mutually opposite sides, and preferably on the top side, such that fork-like or comb-like carry-along members (37, 38) can enter sideways into the chambers (33) by way of fingers (39, 40) and, by transverse movement, move the articles (10, 11, 12) out of the chamber (33), a group (15, 16, 17, 52) being formed in the process.
  9. Apparatus according to Claim 6 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the articles (10, 11, 12) pushed out of the collecting conveyor (30) can be pushed into a group conveyor (41) or into a pocket (43) of the same, a group (15, 16, 17, 52) being formed in the process, and the group transported by the group conveyor (41) can be pushed, by a transversely acting pusher (44), out of the pockets (43) into the correspondingly transported folding boxes (18).
  10. Apparatus for forming complex groups of articles (10, 11, 12), namely collective groups (52), characterized in that sub-groups of in each case a plurality of different articles (10, 11, 12) can be transported in an appropriately positioned manner by a connecting conveyor (53), and in that, in the region of a unit (51) for processing the col lective groups (52), the latter can be pushed out of the connecting conveyor (53) in a transverse direction to the latter, a plurality of apparatuses according to Claim 6 or one of the further claims, each for one type of article (10, 11, 12), being assigned to the common connecting conveyor (53), and in that, in the region of each apparatus (25, 26, 27), a certain number or sub-group of articles (10 or 11 or 12) can be pushed, as a sub-group, into the connecting conveyor (53) such that a complete collective group (52) thus formed one after the other can be fed to the unit (51) and pushed out in the region of the same.
  11. Apparatus according to Claim 10 or one of the further claims, characterized in that it is possible to determine the composition of the collective groups (52) during charging of the connecting conveyor (53), such that pushing the contents out of a plurality of successive mounts (56) of the connecting conveyor (53) results in the complete group comprising a plurality of different articles (10, 11, 12), namely the collective group (52).
  12. Apparatus according to Claim 11 or one of the further claims, characterized in that, in the region of a unit (25, 26, 27), a number of articles (10, 11, 12) can be pushed out of the chambers (33) of the respective collecting conveyor (30) for the purpose of forming a group (15, 16, 17) and another sub-group, as part of the collective group (52) which is to be formed, can be pushed out of the collecting conveyor (30) in the opposite direction and preferably fed directly to the connecting conveyor (53).
  13. Apparatus according to Claim 10 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the connecting conveyor (53) is designed as a flat-top chain (54) with an approximately U-shaped mount (56), which is open at the top and sides, for a row of articles (10, 11, 12) on a respective chain link (55), the mounts (56) being spaced apart from one another by a distance which makes possible a curved route of the connecting conveyor (53).
