Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a belt for in particular the use as a central belt in slatted frames of seating and reclining furniture or curtain tape made of a warp and weft fabric which has spaced-apart receptacles in the form of taffeta, tabs or the like, e.g. for arranging slats of a slatted frame.
Center belts for slatted frames for beds, for example, are conventionally designed as plastic belts with double slits for carrying out the slats. If such straps are to be labeled with a note, e.g. are provided to the manufacturer, these are usually to be applied by printing technology, which in everyday operation can lead to damage to the prints and the identification can no longer be identified.
It is an object of the present invention to develop a belt of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that identifications can be provided in a simple manner in terms of production technology without the risk that these due to wear and tear in the course of use.
To solve this problem, the belt of the type mentioned is characterized in that the fabric is double-layered and superimposed fabric layers are connected to each other outside of recordings weaving, in the area of recordings by forming floats of warp or weft threads a fabric layer markings such as Letters, logos and the like are provided.
The belt according to the invention is an extremely hard-wearing fastening element consisting of the double-layer fabric, which preferably consists of textile fabric layers. Due to the formation of floats of the warp threads or weft threads in the area of the receptacle, the marking has to be woven in with known production means in the course of the weaving process. Due to the resulting different type of fabric structure, an extraordinarily hard-wearing marking can be provided in the area of the pockets even with a plain-colored fabric. If desired, a different colored warp thread or weft thread can of course also be used in order to be able to optically provide the marking in a contrasting form.
The fabric itself is expediently formed in the area of its upper layer as a jacquard fabric with a high / middle and low weave, the upper fabric in the fastening area outside the pockets being connected to the lower fabric by the deep weave. The markings are formed by the high and middle binding areas in the area of the receptacles. In the area outside the images, the superimposed layers of fabric are also connected to one another in terms of weaving technology, so that they can also be produced in a rational manner using conventional production elements.
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- Fig. 1

Jede Gewebelage hat Schußfäden 4 und Kettfäden 5.The slatted frame belt, generally numbered 1 in the drawing, has a lower fabric layer 2 and an upper one Fabric layer 3. Each fabric layer has weft threads 4 and warp threads 5.
The respective connection areas of the two layers 2 and 3 are indicated by VB in the drawing according to FIG. 1. The weaving connection between the lower ply 2 and the upper ply 3 takes place in that in the fastening area the deep weave of the upper ply is connected to the lower fabric ply by a warp thread 5 of the upper fabric ply 3 encompassing a weft 4 of the lower fabric ply.
In the recording area AB (Fig. 1), which e.g. are formed as tabs, floats are formed, as they are numbered 6 in FIG. 1. These floats allow the markings to be provided in a simple manner in terms of weaving technology, as is illustrated in FIG. 2 in the form of a logo "L".
