Claims (10)
- Electrical connection device with perpendicular fitting of a male part (12) comprising at least one electrical connection contact (36) with resilient pincer-forming blades (37), which contact (36) is placed in a contact-carrying case (28), the said male part being fitted into a female part (10) comprising at least one blade-shaped contact (18) carried by a socket, the said resilient pincer-forming blades of the contact or contacts being positioned on either side of the thickness of the corresponding blade of the contact (18) of the female part.
- Electrical connection device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the contact or contacts (18) are formed from a stripped region (21) of a metal strip elongate in a direction perpendicular to the axis of fitting of the male part (12) into the female part (10) .
- Electrical connection device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the metal strip of the contact or contacts is inserted into an insulating socket (20) on either side of the stripped region (21).
- Electrical connection device according to Claim 3, characterized in that the insulating socket (20) is an overmoulding, the stripped region (21) corresponding to a gap in the said overmoulding.
- Electrical connection device according to Claim 3 or 4, characterized in that it includes at least two metal strips (18), two juxtaposed metal strips being separated from each other by an insulating partition (51) moulded together with the insulating socket (20).
- Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each blade of the contact or contacts (18) of the female part has a contact surface (24) bounded by two transverse bends (22, 22') that permit the said surface to be off-axis with respect to the longitudinal axis of the socket.
- Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the contact-carrying case includes first locking means (44) and second locking means (50) for locking the male contact or contacts (36) on each corresponding blade (18) forming the female contacts.
- Electrical connector with perpendicular fitting that includes a connection device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a matrix (74) into which a combination of the socket (20) and of the contacts (18) of the female part is incorporated, the said matrix being provided with a housing (76) with an outline conjugate with the head (32) of the contact-carrying case and with sealing means (14).
- Electrical connector according to Claim 7, characterized in that the sealing means (14) comprise a seal (64) of the 0-ring type carried by the male part (12) and designed to be pressed against a bearing surface (78) provided in the matrix.
- Electrical connector according to Claim 8 or 9, characterized in that it includes means (16) for clamping the male (12) and female (10) parts.
