The main idea of the present invention is that Display packaging of the type in question here from extreme simply designed parts can be produced, namely parts, which are generally available in bulk. As already explained at the beginning, this is about Production of a so-called display packaging, the is preferably constructed as shown in Fig. 7. Accordingly, such display packaging consists of a shell or tray-like display part 10 with longitudinal and Side walls 11, 12 and one through on the longitudinal and Folded flaps 13, 14, 15, 16 arranged on the side walls Floor 17 (see Figs. 1 and 3). Furthermore there is Display packaging from a hood-like cover part 18, which is shown in dashed lines in Fig. 7. This Cover part 18 also has longitudinal and side walls 19, 20 as well as one arranged on the longitudinal and side walls Folding tabs 21, 22 formed top wall 23. As in FIG. 7 can be seen particularly well is the cover part 18 placed on the bottom inside the display part 10 and with this over on the side walls 12 of the display part 10 arranged tear-off tabs 24 releasably connected. Between the Tear tab 24 and the associated side wall 20 of the hood-like cover part 18 an adhesive point is provided, which is released when the tear-off tab 24 is removed. Then can the hood-like cover part 18 is removed from the display part 10, namely be pulled out of this under appropriate Presentation of goods 25 in the display part 10. Die Tear-off tabs 24 are with the side walls 12 of the Display part 10 over predetermined breaking lines, in particular Stamped lines 26 connected so that they easily with two Fingers from the side walls 12 of the display part 10 under Dissolution of the mentioned glue point can be separated can.

In the area of approximately parallel to the bottom of the packaging extending breaking line between tear-off tab and assigned side wall of the display part is another Opening 27 provided, the function of which is explained below becomes.
