Hier sind nun am Maschinenrahmen 5 der Maschine 1 zwei in Maschinenquerrichtung
voneinander distanzierte Saugrohre 18 angeordnet, die jeweils
an einem eigenen Tragrahmen 35 befestigt sind. Die Tragrahmen 35 sind
anhand von Antrieben 36 höhenverstellbar ausgebildet und über diese am
Maschinenrahmen 5 angelenkt, und zwar derart, daß die oberen Enden der
Antriebe 36 jeweils um eine in Maschinenlängsrichtung verlaufende Achse
41 verschwenkbar bzw. pendelnd aufgehängt sind. Der Abstand der beiden
Achsen 41 in Maschinenquerrichtung entspricht in etwa der Spurweite des
Gleises 3. Jeder Tragrahmen 35 bzw. jede Ansaugöffnung 17 ist anhand
eines weiteren, zwischen Maschinenrahmen 5 und Antrieb 36 angeordneten
Antriebes 42 in Maschinenquerrichtung verschwenkbar ausgebildet.Fig. 4 shows another embodiment of the invention in a similar one

Claims (11)
- A machine for cleaning the ballast bed of a track, comprising a machine frame (5) supported on on-track undercarriages (4) and a screening installation (11) which is charged by means of an excavating device (6) having a revolvable excavating chain (7), and also comprising a conveyor arrangement (13) for discharging the cleaned ballast upon the track (3), characterized by a suction pipe (18) vertically and transversely adjustable by means of drives (36,43;42) and arranged between the on-track undercarriages (4), the suction pipe having a suction opening (17) for taking up ballast, and by a vacuum installation (19) which is connected to the suction opening (17) via the suction pipe (18) and with which a ballast container (20) is associated.
- A machine according to claim 1, characterized in that the end of the suction pipe (18) comprising the suction opening (17) is arranged between the excavating chain (7) and an operator's cab (16) spaced therefrom in the longitudinal direction of the machine.
- A machine according to claim 2, characterized in that, at the end adjacent to the suction opening (17), the excavating device (6) has a detachably fastened transverse chain member (10) for receiving and guiding the excavating chain (7), the transverse chain member (10) extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the machine and being positioned underneath the track (3) during operation.
- A machine according to one of claims 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that, above the suction opening (17), the suction pipe (18) is connected to a support frame (35) which is mounted for transverse displacement on a guide (37) extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the machine and horizontally.
- A machine according to claim 4, characterized in that the support frame (35) is designed for telescopic vertical adjustment by means of a drive (36).
- A machine according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a lower end portion (38), containing the suction opening (17), of the suction pipe (18) is mounted for rotation about a vertical axis and may be set rotating by means of a rotary drive (39).
- A machine according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that associated with the suction opening (17) are finger-shaped scarifying elements (40) projecting downwardly over the end of the suction pipe (18).
- A machine according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that two suction pipes (18) are provided, spaced from one another in the transverse direction of the machine and each connected to its own vertically adjustable support frame (35).
- A machine according to claim 8, characterized in that the two support frames (35) are respectively mounted to the machine frame (5) at a distance from one another corresponding substantially to the gauge of the track (3) for swinging about an axis (41) extending in the longitudinal direction of the machine, the support frames being designed for pivoting in the transverse direction of the machine by means of a drive (42).
- A machine according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that a closable opening (21) positioned above the track is associated with the ballast container (20).
- A machine according to claim 10, characterized in that provided between the screening installation (11) and the ballast container (20) is a blow piping (23) for transporting the ballast from the ballast container (20) to the screening installation (11), and that the ballast container (20) is connected to an air compressor device (22).
