Definitions
- the invention relates to a Roman blind according to the preamble of independent claim 1.
- the invention has for its object to provide a Raffvor ⁇ curtain of the type mentioned, which avoids these difficulties and which is still easy to install and reliable.
- inventive venetian blind is particularly suitable for inclined windows.
- the diameter is not limited to the distance between the curtain and the window and can be much larger and, accordingly, the curtain can be longer. Damage to the curtain material by tangential stripes on the winding rolls is avoided in the inventive venetian blind. Separate pillow blocks are unnecessary in terms of assembly and the inventory is simplified considerably.
- a braking device is created in a structurally simple manner, by means of which the curtain is automatically locked in any desired intermediate position.
- a self-locking worm gear is arranged between the drive member and the winding shaft.
- the gearboxes between the winding rollers and the winding shaft can be conventional inexpensive gearboxes without self-locking.
- a drive wheel is preferably mounted in such a way that its axis of rotation is perpendicular to the winding shaft, so that there is an arrangement similar to that of the winding rollers.
- Fig. 1 views of an assembled roman blind for a
- Fig. 3 is a view in the direction of arrow III of Fig. 2 of a part of the holder with an inserted gear and winding roller, and 4 shows a view in the direction of arrow IV from FIG. 2 of the part according to FIG. 3.
- Fig. 1 shows a vertically hanging curtain fabric 8, on which a weight profile 9 is attached.
- the axes of the winding rollers 3 are arranged horizontally and at right angles to a winding shaft 2 which is connected to a drive wheel 12 which can be driven by means of a ball chain.
- the winding shaft 2 is arranged horizontally and, in the case of a Roman blind for an oblique window, it is inclined.
- a curtain rail 1 runs parallel to the winding shaft 2 and is attached in the usual way to the ceiling, wall or window. As shown in FIG. 2, the curtain fabric 8 is detachably attached to this curtain rail 1 by means of pile and chain tape 28.
- the ball chain 10 In order to actuate the curtain, the ball chain 10 is pulled, whereby in the case of the shirring curtain for an oblique window below the drive wheel 12 a guide roller 11 is attached.
- the pull-up belts 6 In one pulling direction of the endless ball chain 10, the pull-up belts 6 are wound onto the winding rollers 3 and the curtain is pulled up, while in the other pulling direction the lift belts 6 are unwound synchronously and the curtain is lowered.
- the curtain stops automatically in any position after the ball chain is released.
- the winding rollers 3 are each mounted in a housing which essentially consists of a housing body 13 and two covers 14 and 15 which are detachably placed on these.
- a housing body 13 On the housing body 13 two spaced brackets are integrally formed, which are detachably inserted in the curtain rail 1 and displaceable in the longitudinal direction.
- the housing body 13 has a vertical wall 32 which divides the housing into two chambers 30 and 31.
- the winding roll 3 with the tape roll 19 is accommodated in the chamber 30.
- the chamber 30 also has one Detachably attached cover 15, which on the inside has a projection 22 which engages in the winding roll 3 and guides it.
- the winding roll 3 is formed on a worm wheel 4, which is mounted in an opening 16 of the wall 32 and with a bearing journal 24 in an opening 33 of a further cover 14.
- the teeth 18 of the worm wheel 4 mesh with a worm 5 which is mounted on the housing part 13 and on the cover 14.
- the worm wheel 5 is connected to the winding shaft 2 in a rotationally fixed manner and displaceable in the longitudinal direction. It is often necessary to tension a wrap 19 or to loosen something so that all the tapes 6 pull the curtain fabric 8 up precisely in synchronism. This can be achieved in a simple manner by pulling the worm wheel 4 out of the chamber 31 with the cover 15 on the winding roll 3 removed and rotating it in one or the other direction in the uncoupled state and thus adjusting the slot 34.
- the above information thus results in a venetian blind which, despite the considerable advantages, has a comparatively few, robust and simple components and which, when used as a venetian blind for an oblique window or very tall window, also includes the practical requirements very much careful handling of Vor ⁇ hang substance in an excellent manner and takes account of the addition in manufacturing low and operationally very reliably is to ⁇ .
- the gear ratio of the worm gear is chosen so that the elevator ends itself, taking into account the friction of the moving parts. If the worm 5 is made of nylon and the worm wheel 4 is made of Delrin, self-locking with a ratio of about 1: 4.2 is achieved. Without friction, the transmission ratio would have to be about 1: 6 for self-locking to occur.
- a translation ratio of approximately 1: 4 is advantageous for a gathering curtain.
- heavy curtains can be operated with little effort and on the other hand the transmission ratio is not so great that the curtain moves too slowly.
- the self-locking effect means that the curtain immediately remains in the position it has reached in any intermediate position when the ball chain is released. This in particular prevents the weight profile 9 from whizzing downwards when the ball chain 10 is released unintentionally and can injure a person or damage the curtain.
- the cover 14 is detachably attached to the housing body 13 by means of a snap device 20.
- the cover 15 is also attached to the housing body 13 with a similar snap device.
- the take-up roll 3 is enclosed in the housing and is not otherwise rotating Parts are present which are in contact with the curtain fabric and could damage it. Since the housing body 13 is continuously displaceable on the winding shaft 2, it is possible in any case to bring the slot 21 exactly on the line of the eyelets 7. In the selected position, the housing body 13 can then always be attached to the curtain rail 1.
- the gears between the winding rollers and the winding shaft are conventional cross gears without self-locking.
- the drive roller 12 is connected to the winding shaft via a self-locking worm gear.
- the drive roller 12 like a winding roller, is mounted with its axis of rotation transversely to the winding shaft on the rail 1 in a housing. This design is significantly less expensive since only a worm gear is provided.

Abstract
A winding shaft (2) is actuated by means of a chained grain chain (10). It is connected to winding drums (3) by worm gears (4, 5). The winding drums (3) are in one piece with the tangent wheel (4), which is capable of rotating in a housing (13). When mounting the curtain, the axes of the tangent wheels (4) are horizontal and arranged perpendicular to the winding shaft (2). The transmission ratio of the worm gears (4, 5) is chosen so that the winding mechanism is self-locking. An auxiliary braking device is therefore not necessary. The roll-up curtain is also suitable for tilted windows as well as for tall windows and for curtains made of heavy fabrics (8).
