Description

Leufsohle für Sportschuhe -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Outsole for sports shoes ----------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------
The invention relates to an outsole for sports shoes, with a carrier element made of relatively hard material and with relatively softer sole parts attached to the carrier element on the running side.
In a known sports shoe sole of the type specified above (US-PS 40 30 213), the sole parts made of very flexible rubber or corresponding elastomeric material are fastened to a carrier element, which in turn is made of a relatively hard material, e.g. made of hard rubber or light metal, and is consequently overall stiff. The support element is curved in the longitudinal direction of the sole on its underside and has such a thickness in the joint area that it comes into contact with the ground between the sole parts fastened on the front sole and in the heel area and acts as a support. Behind this outsole construction is the intention, by means of the support element during the run and in particular during the rolling process of the foot, to support it firmly and in its position in a relatively constant manner, but - through the soft, resilient sole parts - to achieve extensive impact absorption and a certain catapult effect.
This known sole construction does cause a good impact due to the arrangement of the soft, resilient sole parts under the non-deformable rigid support 1 damping achieved. The disadvantage of this, however, is that the stiff carrier! ement completely prevents the natural rolling and movement of the foot and the intended support and guiding function is very largely impaired by the compliant sole sole.
The object of the invention is to provide an outsole of this type, in which the supporting and guiding function is not impaired by the resilient sole parts.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that cfas support element is a sole plate with stiffening walls approximately perpendicular to the plate surface, largely following the contour of the sole edge, and in order to achieve a deformability of the support element in the joint area, the height of the stiffening walls in the joint is at least the sole plate locally emphasized is lower than in the heel area of the soleplate.
The invention is based on the consideration that the supporting and guiding function which the outsole is to have in relation to the foot must not be transferred to the dimensionally stable support element to such an extent that the foot can no longer exercise its natural movement. As biomechanical studies have shown, this supporting and guiding function requires control by the foot itself; this cannot be provided by a carrier element alone and is consequently switched off by a rigid, non-deformable carrier element. For this reason, the support element in the outsole according to the invention is designed as a somewhat rigid sole plate, which, however, is fixed by a "raking" of lateral stiffening walls in the manner of a double-T support. Run through the height of the side stiffening walls without changing the thickness of the soleplate itself This fixation and thus the Lenos stiffness would have to be set very specifically: A reduced height of the stiffening walls in the joint area ensures that the sole plate there can bend around a transverse axis as well as twist around a longitudinal axis to match the corresponding one To be able to follow foot movements when unrolling to the extent necessary. In conjunction with the control described by the runner himself, the carrier element can therefore develop the desired support and guidance function without impairing and tiring the runner's mileage due to an unnatural posture and foot movement. The other essential function of cushioning in the event of an impact and during the entire rolling process is carried out exclusively by the soft, flexible sole parts which are fastened to the underside of the carrier element.
In diesem Fall bleibt das Eiegeverhalten des Trägerelements dadurch weitgehend unbeeinflusstAn essential advantage associated with the described concept is that, due to the design of the support element as a (thin) sole plate with lateral stiffening walls, the weight of the support element can be considerably reduced compared to the known design described at the outset, since the support element maintains its stiffness through training in the manner of a double-T profile or box profile. To achieve the desired dimensional stability of the carrier element, it consists of hard-set plastic materials, for example of polyamide or polyurethane, which may be reinforced with carbon fibers or glass fibers. Due to their hard setting, these materials have a low compressive and tensile deformability, but they are flexurally elastic to the extent necessary so that the support element can undergo bending and torsion deformation, at least to the extent described. For reasons of rigidity, it is in principle irrelevant whether the stiffening walls only protrude above or below the sole plate, so that both are possible within the scope of the invention. However, it has a particular advantage to have the stiffening turn protrude upwards and downwards over the soleplate, because this creates lateral boundary edges or frames for the sole elements installed on the running side, by means of which lateral deflection of the resilient sole parts during loading and a consequent result "Swimming" can be prevented. Debei knows how to prevent the sole parts from being firmly connected to the side walls surrounding them, for example by gluing or direct casting, in order to promote the pressure deformation into the interior of the frames formed by the side walls. On the other hand, the part of the side walls projecting upward above the soleplate, which part may be connected to the shoe upper, forms a contour for the foot itself and thereby promotes the described support and guiding function of the carrier structure. The sole parts to be fastened to the carrier element can be arranged thereon either fixedly or releasably. Because the sole's support and guidance function is carried out exclusively by the wearer! ement is taken over, the sole elements can be designed according to the aspects of optimal cushioning and can also be arranged only in the areas of the outsole in which the cushioning function requires this and a significant contact with the ground is to be expected. Thus, the sole parts arranged on the front sole and in the heel area are expediently separated from one another, so that they are at a distance from one another in the joint area. As a result, the deformation behavior of the wearer! ements not influenced by the normally plate-shaped sole parts. However, if such an influence is desired to a certain extent, one of the two parts of the rail should know the are located on the front sole or in the heel area, a longitudinal projection extending in the sole is provided, which excites into the joint area and is connected to the underside of the soleplate. Because of the one-piece connection with the associated sole part, the bending stiffness of the support element in the joint area can be increased, depending on the bending stiffness of this projection itself. On the other hand, however, a separate sole part can also be arranged in the joint area, which is not connected to the sole parts located in front and behind it and essentially serves only as a support. In this case, the bending behavior of the carrier element remains largely unaffected
Other advantageous configurations result from further subclaims.

2 einfassen, verringern zu müssen.3, the Schlenplatte 11 has in An opening 18 in the front sole area and an opening 19 in the heel area, in which the upper side of the sole parts 2 and 3 are exposed and the edges of which are sharpened in order to avoid pressure points. In addition, the stiffening walls 13 and 16 provided in the front sole area can have incisions 15 extending from the lower edge thereof, which serve to reduce the bending stiffness about a transverse axis of the front sole of the support element 1, without the height of the stiffening walls 13 and 16 forming the sole part ! 2 border, need to reduce.
Außerdem ist im Ballenzentrum des Sohlenteils 2 ein "Drehkreis" 22 inThe sole parts 2 and 3 consist of any sole material that has damping properties, e.g. Made of foamed polyurethane with a Shore hardness in the range from 30 to 70: They are essentially plate-shaped and have the contour shown in FIG. 4. In addition, they have a profile 21 or 31, only indicated in FIG. 4, which in the embodiment is formed by small cup-shaped recesses. In addition, a "turning circle" 22 in is in the bale center of the sole part 2
Form eines Ringprofilε vorgeεehen. Der hintere SohlenteilProvided shape of a ring profile. The rear sole part
3 besitzt einen schräg zur Sohlenlängsrichtung vorspringenden Abschnitt 32, der fest mit der Unterseite der Sohlenplatte3 has a section 32 which projects obliquely to the longitudinal direction of the sole and which is fixed to the underside of the soleplate
This projection 32 is considerably narrower than the wearer! Element 11 in the joint area 4 and therefore only contributes to a small extent to increase the bending stiffness of the support element 1 in the joint area
The sole parts 2 and 3 are firmly connected to the underside of the sole plate 11, e.g. glued.
In contrast to the openings 18, 19 shown in FIG. 3, the sole plate can have differently designed openings and each of them can have a plurality of them, which ensure that that the sole plate allows a certain deformation in these sections in order to better support the foot on the resilient and damping sole parts 2 and 3 arranged underneath. Furthermore, it can be considered to provide the sole plate 11 in the joint area 4 with longitudinal or inclined recesses or openings in order to control the torsion and bending ability of the support element 1.
The outsole according to the invention can be connected in the usual way to an undershoe, e.g. are glued, whereby the lateral stiffening walls are also connected to the shaft parts covered by them. Due to the construction described, the outsole is light and provides a good support and guiding function in connection with a freely selectable damping, which can be adjusted independently of the carrier element by appropriate selection of material and thickness of the sole parts.
