Description

The present invention relates to the field of building, in particular the coating of facades, and relates to a glass facade panel.

Currently, the filling of light facades, or the realization of curtain walls, are generally carried out by means of reflective tinted glass, which is also used for the vision part in double glazing.

At the level of the solid parts such as the lighters, the trumeaux or the transoms, it is however necessary to opacify this ice, in order to avoid that the infrastructure is visible. For this purpose, one generally proceeds to an enameling and a tempering of the back of the ice or even to the installation of an adhesive or silicone film, a research of shade being carried out in order to harmonize the solid parts with the parts as well as possible. allowing vision. The glass thus obtained is bonded to a wooden frame containing an insulator, the assembly being mounted in an aluminum frame allowing attachment to a load-bearing wall.

This known embodiment does not, however, allow obtaining a continuity of appearance between the solid parts and the vision parts.

A 773 904 also discloses a glass front panel consisting of a glass mounted on a box, the bottom of which is provided with a layer of insulating material delimiting behind the glass an air space. In such a panel, the air space is stationary, so that it is subjected to climatic variations and can lead to the formation of fogging under certain conditions.

In addition, in this document the layer of insulating material is provided with decorative patterns intended to appear as such on the facade. There is no provision in this document for obtaining a uniform facade between the vision parts and the solid parts.

The present invention aims to overcome these drawbacks.

It has, in fact, for a glass facade panel, constituted by a glass and by a layer of insulating material placed behind the glass with the formation of an air space, characterized in that it is in the form of a compact monobloc panel usable as a light panel to obtain walls with continuity of appearance between the vision parts and the solid parts and in that the glass is a tinted reflecting glass, in that the blade of air, formed between the layer of insulating material and the glass, is ventilated, in that a layer of opacifying material covers the face of the layer of insulating material turned towards the glass, an interior vapor-tight facing closing the panel on its rear face, and in that a peripheral frame for stiffening the assembly is disposed between the tinted reflecting glass and the layer of insulating material, the various elements being assembled together by bonding.

The invention will be better understood from the following description, which relates to preferred embodiments, given by way of nonlimiting examples, and explained with reference to the appended schematic drawings, in which: FIGS. 1 to 4 show, in partial sectional view, various embodiments of the invention.

In accordance with the invention and as shown more particularly, by way of example, FIG. 1 of the accompanying drawings, the glass front panel, which is constituted by a glass 1 and by a layer of insulating material 2 disposed behind the window 1 with formation of an air space, is characterized in that it is in the form of a compact monobloc panel usable as a light panel for obtaining walls with continuity of appearance between the vision parts and the solid parts and in that the glass 1 is a tinted reflecting glass, in that the air space 3, formed between the layer of insulating material 2 and the glass 1, is ventilated, in that a layer of opacifying material 4 covers the face of the layer 2 of insulating material facing the glass 1, an interior facing 5 vapor tight closing the panel on its rear face, and in that a peripheral frame 6 for stiffening the assembly is placed between the reflecting glass tinted plaster 1 and the layer of insulating material 2, the various elements being joined together by gluing.

The tinted reflecting glass 1 can be of any existing type, has a thickness of at least 6 mm, and is generally tempered.

The air gap 3 formed between the glass 1 and the layer 2 of insulating material advantageously has a thickness of approximately 15 mm.

The layer 4 of opacifying material is produced, either in the form of a veil of glass tinted in the mass or:
  • colored by coating, bonded to the front face of layer 2 of insulating material, either in the form of polyurethane paint, epoxy, or other, applied to said front face by means of rollers, brushes, by spraying, or with a squeegee, or again in the form of colored adhesive of the polyurethane, epoxy, resorcinol, or other type, also applied to said front face by means of a squeegee, rollers, brushes, or by spraying.

The coating layer used must have good resistance to ultraviolet light, good flexibility and good bonding characteristics as well as low permeability to water vapor and good general aging behavior.

The layer 2 of insulating material is advantageously constituted, in a known manner, by a polystyrene foam extruded into rigid high-density plates having, on the one hand, a surface allowing very good adhesion of the opacifying material, and, on the other hand , very low vapor permeability as well as water absorption and zero capillarity. In addition, such a material has a low linear expansion, a fire behavior according to the M1 standard, and does not give off harmful vapors. Obviously, it is also possible to produce layer 2 in any other material, such as, for example, cellular glass, etc.

In order to allow good impact resistance, the interior facing 5 has folded edges 7 avoiding stripping of said facing in the event of interior impacts (FIGS. 2 to 4).

The thickness of the air gap 3 is defined by the peripheral frame 6 which is either constituted by a profile 6 'interposed between the glass 1 and the layer 2 of insulating material (Figure 1), or is constituted by a profile 6 '' mounted on a wooden frame 8 or plywood surrounding layer 2 (Figure 3), either constituted by a wooden frame 9 or plywood, surrounding layer 2 thicker than the latter, and on which the glass 1 is fixed directly (Figure 2), either by a peripheral coffee 10, made of wood, plywood, high density polyurethane, extruded high density polystyrene, cork, PVC, or neoprene, mounted on the folded edges 7 of the inner facing 5, and on which the lens 1 is fixed (FIG. 4), an aluminum adhesive strip 11 surrounding the lens assembly 1 - peripheral frame 6 - inner facing 5 and being folded down along a peripheral strip along the edges of ice 1 and d u facing 5 (Figures 1 to 4).

According to another characteristic of the invention, the frame 6 is provided, in its top and bottom crosspieces, with ventilation openings (not shown) also passing through the adhesive strip 11. These ventilation openings preferably have a surface of passage of 10 cm 2 per meter length.

The peripheral frame 6 is intended to stiffen the entire front panel and must allow it to be clamped in the receiving frame without risk of crushing. In addition, the frame 6 is insensitive to the absorption of water and has a low vapor permeability.

The connection between the peripheral frame 6 and the interior facing 5 is advantageously carried out by means of a neoprene or polyurethane adhesive, that between the frame 6 and the glass 1 by means of a silicone sealant, and that between the layer of insulating material. 2 and the interior facing 5 by means of a neoprene adhesive.

Thanks to the invention, it is possible to use the same glazing for the solid parts and the vision parts and thus to achieve uniformity in appearance of the facades thus produced, meeting market demand. In addition, since research into the coloring of opacifiers is possible, differences in tones and reflections for the same type of reflecting glass can easily be obtained.

The air gap 3 allows a better balance of the panel, owing to the fact that the heat exchanges between the external wall, or glass 1, subjected directly to the external environment, and the insulating layer 2, are regulated by said air gap. .

In addition, in the event of breakage of the glass 1, the latter can be replaced without requiring the replacement of the entire panel.

Finally, because the glass 1 does not require any special treatment, the cost of the front panel is significantly reduced. Likewise, the cost of mounting the panel on a facade is also reduced, because it presents itself as a single element requiring only a single frame for its fixing, unlike existing analogous coverings, in which the insulating panel and the ice forming skin each required a mounting frame.

Le panneau conforme à l'invention est également adapté à la réalisation de façades ventilées incorporant des glaces émaillées montées en lieu et place des glaces réfléchissantes 1.The panel according to the invention is also suitable for the production of ventilated facades incorporating enamelled glass mounted in place of the reflecting glass 1.

Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown in the accompanying drawings.
