Der erfindungsgemäße Behang besteht aus einem Tragstab 1, der beim gezeigten Beispiel kreisförmigen Querschnitt und über seine ganze Länge gleichbleibenden Querschnitt hat. Der Tragstab 1 besteht aus einer Gewindestange 2, auf welche ein Metallrohr 3 mit polierter Außenfläche aufgeschoben ist. Zu jeder der beiden Muttern 4, 5 gehört eine Tragplatte 6. Die beiden Tragplatten sind beim gezeigten Beispiel gleich, können aber auch unterschiedliches Aussehen haben. Die Tragplatten 6 haben im wesentlichen Wannenform, wobei der umlaufende Rand 7 die Außenstäbe 8 aus durchsichtigem Material mit hochglänzender Oberfläche wie auch den Tragstab zusammenhält. Die Außenstäbe haben beim gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel kreisförmigen Querschnitt und untereinander gleichen, über ihre ganze Länge gleichbleibenden Durchmesser, welcher etwas größer ist als jener der Tragstange 1. Sie bestehen aus Glas von vorzugsweise hohem Brechungskoeffizienten ; sie können aber auch aus Kunstglas (Plexiglas, Polymethacrylsäureester u. dgl.) hergestellt sein.A
Zur Halterung der vier Außenstäbe 8 im richtigen gegenseitigen Abstand sowie im Abstand vom Tragstab 1 ist in jeder Tragplatte 6 ein quadratisches Distanzstück 9 vorgesehen, welches unter Zwischenlage von Beilagscheiben 10 mittels der beiden Muttern 4 und 5 gegen das Metallrohr 3 gezogen wird. Die Länge der Außenstäbe 8 ist etwas geringer als der Abstand der Böden der Tragplatten 6 voneinander, sodaß auch bei starkem Anziehen der Muttern 4,5 die Außenstäbe 8 keiner Druckbelastung, die zur Beschädigung oder zum Bruch führen könnten, unterliegen können.To hold the four

Diese Verwindung kann bei allen Stäben im gleichen Sinn verlaufen, jedoch ist aber auch ein Abwechseln der Verwindungsrichtung, z.
