4. A lifting device as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the supporting arms of each scissors arm part (63, 64) have a U-shaped cross-section and are arranged between the base component (4) and the supporting component (10) with their flanks facing one another.
5. A lifting device as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the two scissors arm parts (63, 64) have the same construction.
