Description

The invention relates to a device for fastening a mounting rail or the like. At a distance from a wall, in which an expansion dowel with a fastening screw is extended on the end face by means of a spacer sleeve and at the free end of the spacer sleeve carries elements of a closure which carries the mounting rail provided with an opening or the like connects with the spacer sleeve.

Such a device is known from DE-U 77 27 709. In this known device, the closure consists of an end stop collar of the spacer sleeve and a lock nut which is adjustable on a threaded part of the spacer sleeve of the expansion anchor. The expansion anchor is inserted from the front into a hole in the mounting rail or the like until the stop collar is in contact. Then the lock nut is screwed from the back onto the threaded part of the spacer sleeve and tightened so that the expansion joint is connected to the mounting rail.

With this known device, the fastening of a mounting rail or the like at a distance from a wall is difficult, as well as labor and time consuming. The insertion of the expansion dowels into the bore of the mounting rail, the subsequent screwing and tightening of the lock nut in connection with the insertion of the expansion dowel into the dowel hole is particularly difficult when the mounting rail or the like is fastened to the wall at several points by means of several such devices must and some of the attachment points are already attached.

It is an object of the invention to provide a device for fastening a mounting rail or the like at a distance from a wall of the type mentioned at the outset, which requires considerably less work and time during assembly and, above all, the connection between the mounting rail or the like. and the expansion anchors much easier.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the opening in the mounting rail or the like. Is designed as an elongated hole, the width of which corresponds to the diameter of the spacer sleeve and the expansion dowel outside of its expansion springs, that the closure facing the expansion dowel has a locking web on the Spacer sleeve only protrudes diametrically, the width of which is equal to or less than the width of the elongated hole and the length of which is less than the length of the elongated hole, that the closure turns away from the expansion dowel at an axial distance which corresponds to the thickness of the mounting rail or the like in the area of the elongated hole corresponds to a stop that has a dimension over the entire circumference of the spacer sleeve that is greater than the width of the elongated hole, and that the locking bar of the closure in a predetermined position can be inserted into the opening of the mounting rail or the like and by turning in the screwing direction of the Fixing screw against a stop, A the rail or the like. Can be braced and fixed in a locking position.

The expansion dowel can be inserted from the front into the opening of the mounting rail and the dowel hole through this design of the closure. By simply turning the expansion anchor, the mounting rail or the like is connected to the expansion anchor and this connection is established. Since all measures can be carried out from the front of the mounting rail or the like, assembly with the device according to the invention is made considerably easier.

If it is provided that the expansion dowel, the spacer sleeve and the elements of the closure are designed as a one-piece injection-molded plastic part, then only one connector designed in this way and one fastening screw are required for each fastening point. The connector can be inserted into the hole in the wall without difficulty even with insulation of different thicknesses. The distance between the wall and the mounting rail guided with the closure of the connector can be adjusted by varying the depth of immersion of the expansion anchor in this hole. When the fastening screw is screwed in, the position of the connector in the bore is clearly defined by spreading the expansion springs of the expansion anchor and thus the adjusted distance is recorded.

So that the immersion depth can be read directly into the hole in the wall of the connector, according to one embodiment it is provided that circumferential markings are made in the transition area between the expansion dowel and the spacer sleeve, which are preferably designed as circumferential webs spaced apart from one another.

An anti-rotation device with a non-rotatable locking of the connector in the opening of the mounting rail or the like. Is obtained according to a further development in that the locking web of the closure with its end faces against heels of the mounting rail or the like can be rotated and clamped, the shoulders through the boundary walls in one Longitudinal direction of the slot extending groove or by webs of the mounting rail or the like extending in the longitudinal direction of the slot are formed.

A clear bracing with a defined rotary end position can be achieved in that the end faces of the locking web are inclined so that the distance from the front corner in the screwing direction of the fastening screw to the central axis of the spacer sleeve is smaller than the distance from the rear corner in the screwing direction of the fastening screw the end face to the central axis of the spacer sleeve, the latter distance being greater than half the distance between the shoulders of the mounting rail or the like.

In order that the connector can be easily brought into the tensioned rotary end position, a further embodiment provides that the stop of the closure is at least turned towards the free end as an external hexagon. The connector can then be tightened using a socket wrench.

The axial hold of the connector in the opening of the mounting rail or the like is ensured regardless of its rotational position that the stop designed as an external hex turns the locking web into a stop collar with a round cross section. A tight cover for the fastening screw can be achieved according to a further embodiment in that the bore extending through the expansion dowel, the spacer sleeve and the closure in the area of the stop for receiving the screw head of a countersunk screw is flared and in a cylindrical end section for receiving a The cap ends.

So that the expansion springs of the expansion anchor and the locking bar of the closure can be inserted into the opening of the mounting rail or the like at the same angular position, according to one embodiment it is provided that the parts of the locking bar protrude from the spacer sleeve in the same directions as the expansion springs of the expansion anchor.

In the case of facade cladding, in which the facade panels are fastened lying on the front of the mounting rail, the closure of the connector does not impair this fastening if it is provided that the openings in the form of elongated holes for receiving the closure are angled in a U-shape towards the wall Bulge arranged and aligned with their longitudinal axes in the longitudinal direction of the mounting rail.

The invention is explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawings. Show it :
  • 1 in side view and partly in section, the one-piece connector according to the invention, which consists of expansion dowel, spacer sleeve and closure,
  • FIG. 2 shows the top view of the stop of the closure,
  • FIG. 3 shows a section along line 111-111 through the connector according to FIG. 1,
  • Figure 4 in cross section a mounting rail and
  • Figure 5 shows a partial section of the mounting rail with an elongated hole for fixing the connector of Figure 1 in plan view.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the connector according to the invention consists of an expansion plug 10 known per se, the expansion springs 25 of which assume the tension in the bore in the wall when a fastening screw is screwed into the through bore of the expansion anchor 10.

A spacer sleeve 11 is now integrally formed on the end face of the expansion anchor 10 and protrudes more or less from the hole in the wall. The immersion depth of the expansion anchor 10 in the bore of the wall can be read from circumferential markings which are formed at the transition between the expansion anchor 10 and the spacer sleeve 11 as circumferential webs 24 running at a distance from one another.

At the free end of the spacer sleeve 11, a closure 12 is attached, with which the connector can be fixed axially immovably and non-rotatably at least in the screwing-in direction of the fastening screw in an opening in the mounting rail 30. As FIGS. 4 and 5 show, in the case of a facade cladding, the support rail 30 is offset from the wall in the middle part in a U-shape, as parts 34, 35 and 36 show. The free flanges 31 and 32 lying in one plane form the fastening surfaces on which the facade panels are fastened. As the teardrop-shaped opening 33 in the flange 32 reveals, fastening hooks can be hooked in, which hold the facade panels on the mounting rail 30.

Elongated holes 37 are made in the transverse part 35 of the U-shaped bulge as openings for receiving the closure 12 of the connector. The width of the elongated holes 37 corresponds to the outer diameter of the spacer sleeve 1 and the expansion plug 10 outside the expansion springs 25. The longitudinal axes of the elongated holes 37 are aligned in the longitudinal direction of the mounting rail 30, so that the mounting rail can carry out compensating movements in the event of temperature differences. The preferably vertically suspended support rail is rigidly connected at one point to the wall at the upper end, so that the fastening points realized with the connector according to the invention only have to absorb the horizontal forces.

On the side of the transverse part 35 facing the wall, a groove is made which is continuous in the longitudinal direction and which forms paragraphs 38 and 39 symmetrically to the elongated holes 37. However, these shoulders 38 and 39 could also be formed by protruding longitudinal webs of the mounting rail 30.

The closure 12 comprises a locking web 13 which, as the view according to the figure shows, protrudes diametrically from the spacer sleeve 11. The width of this locking web 13 corresponds to the outer diameter of the spacer sleeve 11 and also the width of the elongated hole 37. The length of the locking web 13 is smaller than the length of the elongated hole 37. With these dimensions, the locking web 13 can only be inserted through the elongated hole 37 in a predetermined position . The longitudinal axis of the locking web 13 must coincide with the longitudinal axis of the elongated hole 37. The spreading springs 25 of the expansion anchor 10 are the same Directions arranged as the parts of the locking web 13, so that the connector can assume the same position when inserting the expansion plug 10 and the locking web 13.

At a distance from the locking web 13, the closure 12 is closed by a stop 16, which is designed as an external hexagon 18 at least in the end section. This external hexagon 18 turns the locking web 13 into a stop collar 17 with a round cross section. This stop collar 17 is larger in diameter than the width of the elongated hole 37, so that the connector can never be pushed completely through the elongated hole 37 and has a defined end position. The distance 15 between the locking web 13 and the stop collar 17 is matched to the strength of the mounting rail 30 in the region of the elongated hole 37, so that after the insertion of the locking web 13 into the elongated hole 37 and a rotation of the connector by 90 °, the mounting rail 30 between the Locking web 13 and the stop collar 17 is fixed axially immovable.

As shown in FIG. 2, the end faces 14 of the locking web 13 are inclined so that the distance from the front corner in the screwing-in direction of the fastening screw to the central axis of the spacer sleeve 11 is smaller than the distance from the rear corner of the end face 14 in the screwing-in direction of the fastening screw to the central axis of the spacer sleeve 11, the latter distance being greater than half the distance between the paragraphs 38 and 39 of the mounting rail 30. In this way it is achieved that the locking web 13 is screwed between the paragraphs 38 and 39 of the mounting rail 30 by rotation in the screwing-in direction of the fastening screw can be clamped in between so that the connector assumes a defined end position in the screwing direction. This tensioning of the connector can take place by means of a socket wrench which is plugged onto the external hexagon 18. The support rail 30 therefore assumes a defined position at the end of the connector and can be adjusted in a wide range at a distance from the wall by selecting the immersion depth of the expansion anchor 10 in the bore of the wall. After adjusting the desired distance, a countersunk screw is screwed in as a fastening screw into the bore 23 passing through the closure 12, the spacer sleeve 11 and the expansion dowel 10. The spreading springs 25 spread and fix the expansion dowel 10 immovably and non-rotatably in the hole in the wall. However, this also fixes and holds the set distance between the wall and the mounting rail 30. The head of the countersunk screw is received by the conical extension 19 at the end of the bore 23. This extension 19 ends in a cylindrical end portion 20 into which a closure cap 21 can be inserted in order to cover the fastening screw tightly.

In the exemplary embodiment, the elements of the closure 12 are so simple that they can also be integrally formed on the connector without difficulty. The opening in the mounting rail 30 is also easy to introduce.
