Description

The present invention relates to a set of retaining wall elements, the elements being intended to be planted.

A large number of embankment stones and elements for the construction of retaining walls are known, but these are either not provided with a continuous opening, so that there is a very great pressure from the overlying embankment stones and from the earth and from the humus, especially on the bottom rows only allow with great difficulty to follow difficult embankments or are rectangular, straight-line elements which only allow the formation of curved retaining walls to a limited extent. In addition, the mutual anchoring of the individual elements is essentially effective in the longitudinal direction.

In contrast, it is an object of the present invention to provide a set of retaining wall elements which allows the curvature of an embankment to be followed in a simple and aesthetically more advantageous manner and which also enables better anchoring in the lateral direction. This object is achieved by the set of retaining wall elements described in the claims.

The invention is now based on a drawing of Ausfüh tion examples are explained in more detail. Show it:
  • 1 shows a perspective view of an entire element,
  • FIG. 2 shows a top view of an element lying under two other elements,
  • FIG. 3 shows a perspective view and on a reduced scale of several elements lying on top of one another
  • 4 shows three superimposed elements in section,
  • FIG. 5 in a perspective view and on a reduced scale, several layers of elements on an embankment,
  • FIG. 6 in a perspective view and on a reduced scale, elements lying on top of one another vertically as a retaining wall,
  • Figure 7 in plan view several superimposed elements, and
  • Figure 8 in section a second embodiment of an element with a bottom insert.

Diese Aussparungen können selbstverständlich auch an den Querseiten oder an allen vier Beiten angeordnet sein.1 shows an entire element 1 which is essentially rectangular and has two longer longer side walls 2 and two shorter side walls 3. As in the drawing, the element is laid horizontally on the ground or on the embankment, so that the two holding cams 4 on the long sides 2 and the holding cams 5 which extend over an entire transverse side 3 come to lie at the top. On the underside, in the present example on the long sides 2, a recess 6 is made in each case, in order to be able to grasp and lift the element. These recesses can of course also be arranged on the transverse sides or on all four sides.

In Figure 2 one can see two layers of whole elements, where the upper layer is shown in dash-dotted lines. It can be clearly seen that anchoring in the transverse direction is possible, in particular, by the lateral retaining cams 4, and that the curvature of the walls gives a very large degree of freedom. It can also be seen that the transverse walls 3 'of the upper layer are supported against the cambered inner surfaces 5' of the cams 5 of the lower layer. FIGS. 3 and 4 show the construction of a retaining wall on an embankment, the toothing on the retaining cam 5 of the front wall 3 being particularly evident.

Da es sich um rahmenförmige Elemente handelt, ist die Möglichkeit gegeben, diese mit Erdreich, Kies und Humus auszufüllen und zu bepflanzen, wodurch eine Erhöhung der Festigkeit und Verankerung und eine Verschönerung der Böschung erreicht wird.FIG. 5 shows an arrangement of the elements, in which on the one hand whole corner elements 7 are used, which have only two retaining cams in the form of raised walls 9, 10 and on the other hand half elements 13, the length of which corresponds to the width of entire elements. In the present example, the half-elements have a holding cam. It is particularly clear from FIG. 5 that the use of a set of elements which contains whole and half and whole corner elements provides a very high degree of adaptability, the elements being arranged in an aesthetically pleasing form and above all anchored in all directions . Since the elements are frame-shaped, it is possible to fill them with soil, gravel and humus and plant them, which increases the strength and anchorage and beautifies the embankment.

For this purpose, the following layer is turned across the first layer, rotated by 90 °, the lateral ends of the transverse layers each being formed by half elements 13.

When comparing these half elements 15 with the whole element according to FIG. 2, it can be seen that these half elements can be produced by using the same casting mold, with a partition. Such half elements can be used, for example, for the formation of corners, as shown in FIG. 7, with part of a holding cam 4 'of an entire element 1 having to be knocked away. The longitudinal and transverse anchoring of the elements can also be clearly seen in FIG. If you compare the half element 15 with the whole element 1, you can see that the half element can be placed in element 1. Since generally fewer half elements are used than whole elements, considerable volume savings are possible when the elements are shipped, since in most cases it is sufficient to fill the top layer with half elements.

Durch das Einlegen solcher Schalen ist es möglich, auch Versickern von Wasser zu verhinderr. und somit an trockener: Stellen eine bessere Befeuchtung des Pflanzgutes zu erzielen.FIG. 8 shows a preferred exemplary embodiment of the entire elements, the element 18 having transverse walls 19 and 20 which have an inward-facing thickening 21 at the bottom and are rounded. The rounding on the front raised wall 20 on the one hand has the task of reducing the angle of repose S, which is indicated by the dashed and dash-dotted straight line, see also FIG. 4, and on the other hand, together with the rounding with the other wall, the insertion of a bowl 22 to enable. By inserting such trays, it is also possible to prevent water from seeping away. and thus on drier: places to achieve better moistening of the planting material.

The construction of a retaining wall can of course be varied in various ways and catfish, since the other offer a wide variety of possible applications. In particular, the half-elements can also be used as an upper end, and there is also the option of fastening the elements with additional anchoring piles if the slope and the nature of the underlay require it.
