Abstract
Описаны винильные последовательные сополимеры (и способы их получения), содержащие (а) по меньшей мере 8,5 вес.%, предпочтительно ≥20 вес.% высшего итаконатного диэфира (предпочтительно дибутил итаконата - DBI); (b) менее 23 вес.% кислотного мономера, но достаточное количество для достижения кислотного числа менее 150 мг KOH/г полимера, (с) опционально менее 50 вес.% других итаконатных мономеров, и (d) опционально менее 77 вес.% других мономеров, отличных от (а)-(с). DBI может быть биовозобновляемым. Один вариант осуществления представляет собой водную дисперсию винильного последовательного полимера, состоящего из двух фаз: А) 40-90 вес.% винильного полимера А с Tg от -50 до 30°С; и В) 10-60 вес.% винильного полимера В с Tg от 50 до 130°С; где DBI применяется для получения А и/или В, и полимер А содержит 0,1-10 вес.% по меньшей мере одного кислотно-функционального ненасыщенного по олефиновому типу мономера.
