Die erfindungsgemäßen Merkmale ergeben sich in aller Deutlichkeit bereits aus Fig. 1. Deutlich erkennbar ist hier in Ansicht der Hüftstiel 1 mit einem insgesamt geraden lateralen Verlauf (in Fig. 1 die linke Außenkontur). Beide Preßhügel 2 und 3 sind vorzugsweise integraler Bestandteil des Grundkörpers des Hüftstiels 1, d. h., daß diese gleich mit ausgegossen worden sind und das Ursprungsmodell (aus Wachs) bereits über diese Preßhügel 2 und 3 verfügte. Idealisiert ist in Fig. 1 eine Achse zwischen den höchsten Punkten der Preßhügel 2 und 3 dargestellt, in dessen Mitte ein Schwenkpunkt M angedeutet ist. Wird nämlich der Hüftstiel 1 in den Markkanal des Femurs eingetrieben, so legt sich der Hüftstiel im Bereich seiner Preßhügel 2 und 3 an die im Femur befindliche Spongiosa an der Wandung des ausgeraspelten Bereiches stärker an als an die übrigen Bereiche, so daß im Bereich der Preßhügel in Richtung der Pfeile P jeweils eine stärkere Kraft ausgeübt wird als dies in anderen Bereichen der Fall ist.
