Außerdem können die Drahtenden zwischen die beiden Hälften des Dichtungsringes eindringen und dadurch ein Abdichten verhindern. Da die Anpreßstelle eine gewisse Entfernung hinter dem Geflechtsende liegt,, ist ein ungleichmäßiges Übereinanderliegen der Drahtenden auf der kegeligen Anpreßstelle nicht möglich. Der doppelte Kegelring F liegt mit einer Kegelfläche dem Geflecht an, während die andere Kegelfläche gegen den Kegel des geteilten Dichtungsringes E liegt und diesen gleichmäßig anpreßt. Ein weiterer Vorteil der Anordnung ist der, daß die Überwurfmutter beim Festziehen an der rechtwinkeligen Fläche des einfachen Kegelringes gleitet, da die kegelige Anpreßfläche eine größere Reibung als die rechtwinkelige Gleitfläche besitzt, weil sich das Geflecht in den weicheren Werkstoff des Kegelringes hineinp'reßt und ihn festhält. Hierdurch wird ein radiales Verdrehen und Verzerren des Geflechtsendes verhindert. Weitere verwickelte und teure Verschraubungsteile, welche die Drehbarkeit der Verschraubungen gegenüber dem Schlauch hervorrufen sollen, erübrigen sich dadurch.
