In Fig. r der Zeichnung ist :eine solche bekannte Leitung im Querschnitt ,dargestellt, die aus den beiden U-Profilen i i und 12 gebildet ist. Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß die innere Höhe des- U-Profils gleich der äußeren Breite des Leiterrechtecks ist, so daß .die Anordnung den Vorteil hat; daß für die Verlegung der Leitung nur das eine U-Profil benötigt wird; .daß also für die Auflager und Verbindungsstücke keine besonderen Befestigungsteile-erforderlich sind: In Fig. ä .der Zeichnung ist eine Wechselstromleitung nach der Erfindung im Querschnitt dargestellt, die aus zwei U-Profilen i i und 12 besteht, welche sich zu einem Rechteck ergänzen. Die Bemessung ist derart gewählt, daß die innere Höhe a des U-Profils .gleich der äußeren Breite b des Leiterrechtecks ist. Die Auflager z3 der Leitung, die beispielsweise auf den Metallkappen 15 der Stützisolatoren 16 (vgl. Fig.2) ruhen, bestehen demgemäß aus abgeschnittenen Stücken des U-Profils, ebenso die abdeckenden Stücke 14. Auch für die Verbindungsstücke 17 und 18, welche die Leitungsstücke, z.
