Abstract

The system produces a predetermined degree of weight distribution in the transverse direction in a stream of lignocellulose particles mixed with a binding agent on a flat conveyor belt by means of scraper tools. It is esp. for chip and fibre material in the manufacture of board. Values are determined for adjacent strip-shaped areas in the transverse direction of the stream of material. The height of the material in each strip is varied by adjustment of the level of the scraper tool (16) for the strip concerned, to give the desired weight over the surface area.
