Description
Beiderseitig durch Kegelmäntel abgeschlossene Schaufeltrommel für Kreiselgebläse. Es sind Schaufeltrommeln zu Ventilatoren bekannt, die beiderseitig, und zwar teils durch ebene Böden, teils aber durch Kegelmäntel, abgeschlossen sind. Der Vorderabschluß ist dabei stets parallel mit dem Rückwärtsabschluß, er ist bloß nach Festigkeitsrücksichten ausgebildet und greift seinerseits nirgends fördernd in die Windlieferung ein.Shovel drum closed on both sides by conical shells for Centrifugal fan. Somit erweitern sich die Schaufellücken nach ihren allen vier Grenzflächen hin streudüsenförmig. Die Pfeile zeigen den Luftweg durch die Schaufeltrommel. Die Luft trifft zunächst eine stoßfreie Ablenkung aus der Achsrichtung in die Strahlrichtung, in den Schaufeln aber eine dem erreichten Luftdruck angepaßte Streuung. Somit entsteht der geringste Reibungswiderstand, und Luftwirbelungen werden vermieden. Die sich beständig erweiternden Öuerschnitte erleichtern die Lieferung von möglichst größten Luftmengen.
