Abstract
A device for optical detection of foreign bodies on the surface (8) of a laminated glass disc (1, 2) has an optotransmitter (15), arranged at the lateral rim (4), and two photodiodes (5, 6) coupled to the opposite rim (7) of the discs (1, 2) of the laminated glass disc. The currents in the photodiodes (5, 6) and their ratio are a measure of the dirt particles (13) and water droplets (11) present on the glass surface (8). <IMAGE>
