Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schweißbolzen, insbesondere zur Verwendung als Erdungsbolzen für Automobilkarosserien.The invention relates to a welding stud, in particular for use as a grounding stud for automobile bodies.

Bei herkömmlichen Stahlblechkarosserien bestehen derartige mit einem Gewinde versehenen Erdungsbolzen ebenfalls aus Stahl, wobei die Befestigung mittels Bolzenschweißtechnik (Hubzündung) oder Widerstandsschweißung (Noppenschweißen) problemlos ist, hohe Festigkeit gewährleistet, roboterfähig ist und daher bei geringen Kosten hohe Taktzeiten gestattet.
Bei neuerdings aus Aluminiumblech bestehenden Karosserien ist Widerstandsschweißung nicht möglich. Aluminiumbolzen lassen sich zwar mittels Bolzenschweißung an Aluminiumblech anschweißen; sie sind aber zu weich und halten als Gewindebolzen nicht das geforderte Drehmoment (z.B. 16 Nm bei M6-Bolzen, 24 Nm bei M8-Bolzen) aus. Ferner besteht bei Aluminiumbolzen die Tendenz, daß sich das Gewinde im Lauf der Zeit "setzt" so daß das ursprünglich erreichte Anzugsmoment nicht über längere Zeit gehalten wird. Darüberhinaus verbietet sich ein Aufschweißen von Bolzen mit größeren Durchmessern mittels der sogenannten MIG-Ringschweißnaht aus Kostengründen.

Resistance welding is not possible with new bodies made of aluminum sheet. Furthermore, aluminum bolts have a tendency for the thread to "settle" over time, meaning that the original tightening torque is not maintained for a long time. In addition, welding bolts with larger diameters using the so-called MIG ring weld is not permitted for cost reasons.

Aus DE 82 20 820 Ul ist es zwar bekannt, Schweißbolzen aus unterschiedlichen Werkstoffen herzustellen. Dort geht es aber um eine andere Aufgabe, nämlich Bolzen als Verankerungsmittel für Ortbeton an Edelstahl-Fassadenplatten einzusetzen und dabei an teurem Edelstahl zu sparen. Aus diesem Grund besteht nur die Schaftspitze aus Edelstahl, während der restliche Schaft samt Kopf aus billigem Baustahl gefertigt ist.It is known from DE 82 20 820 Ul that welding studs can be made from different materials. Der fertige Bolzen kann in üblicher Weise durch Bolzenschweißtechnik aufgeschweißt werden. Daher läßt er sich mit hoher Taktgeschwindigkeit über Roboter automatisch zuführen und verschweißen.
