Abstract

The amusement device has movable belts (256-260) representing road lanes and a central line. The lane belts hav e vehicle symbols thereon (480). A steering wheel (40) controls lateral movement of a further vehicle symbol (426). The belts are motor driven via gearing at different speeds to simulate variable movement of the wheel controlled symbol. If the controlled symbol impinges on a belt vehicle symbol, a switch-operated solenoid disconnects the gearing. Simultaneously, a switch operated light flashes to simulate a crash ad a flexible finger contacts a gear to provide an audible warning.
