Im Ventilgehäuse mit seinem Zuflußgehäuseteil 2 und seinem Abflußgehäuseteil 3 eines Doppelsitzventils gemäß der Erfindung, befindet sich eine Sitzfläche 4, die den oberen Ventilteller 5 mit einer Ventilspindel 10 und .den unteren Ventilteller 6 mit einer Sitzfläche 4 a in Schließstellung des Ventils aufnimmt. Zwischen den Ventiltellern 5 und 6 befindet sich ein Leckkontrollraum 7· Dieser Leckkontrollraum 7 hat eine Kontrollbohrung 19 , die ins Freie mündet. Diese Kontrollbohrung 19 beim Abwärtsgang des oberen Ventiltellers 5, der sich zur Weiteröffnung auf den unteren Ventilteller 6 mit seiner Ventilspindel 8 der unteren Feder 14 und dem Bund 13 legt, wird durch den Ventilteller 20 mit der Ventilspindel 21 und der Ventilfeder 22 geschlossen. In den Leckkontrollraum 7 führt das Reinigungsrohr 15» das durch den Ventilteller l6 mit der Ventilspindel 17 und der Ventilfeder 18 absperrbar ist. Bei geschlossenem Ventil ist an der Kontrollbohrung zu erkennen, ob die Ventilsitze 4 und 4 a dicht sind.
