Vielfach werden solche Isolierglaseinheiten auch bei Fenster- und Türkonstruklionen verwendet, bei denen durch mit Hilfe von Isolierkörpern verbundenen Teilrahmen eine Unterbrechung der Wärmebrücke durchgeführt ist, um den Wärmefluß durch den Rahmen zwischen innen und außen aufgrund unterschiedlicher Temperaturen zu verringern. Hierbei besteht das Problem, daß es zu einem begrenzten Wärmefluß auf dem Umweg über das metallene Distanzprofil kommt, wodurch der isolierwirkung des Rahmens entgegengewirkt wird und es an den äußeren Scheibenrändern oft zu Niederschlagen von Kondensaten kommt.Such a distance profile has become known from DF-OS 19 15 245.
