Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Lackes, welcher einen Schutzüberzug für Materialien aller Art, wie Eisen, Holz, Mauerwerk u. s. w., abgeben soll. Der neue Lack wird aus Ricinusöl gewonnen, er zeichnet sich vor den bisher bekannten; meist Kautschuk, Leinöl oder dergl. enthaltenden Lacken dadurch aus, dafs er, aufser wie jene wasserdicht zu sein und isolirend zu wirken, auch gegen ■ die Einwirkung der Sonnenstrahlen widerstandsfähig ist. Letzteres konnte mittelst der bisher verwendeten Lacke bekanntlich nicht erreicht werden, da der mittelst dieser Lacke hergestellte Ueberzug durch die andauernde Einwirkung der Sonne zerstört wurde, so dafs er dann seine Aufgabe, das darunter befindliche Material vor den Witterungseinflüssen zu schützen oder isolirend zu wirken, nicht mehr erfüllt.The subject of the present invention is a process for the production of a Lacquer, which is a protective coating for materials of all kinds, such as iron, wood, masonry and so on.
