Abstract

The lighter has a main potion that is provided with electrical heating elements. The heating element is located in bottom portion and is inserted through a slot in pipe wall and is mounted inside pipe set. The heating element is provided with insulated coils, heating rod and heating plate. The pipe is provided with a handgrip (4), heating guard (3) and ash catcher (9).

Description

Vorrichtungen zum Vorglühen von Grillkohle sind bekannt in Form der US 4531507 aus 1985, in der ein konisch zulaufender Schlot der aufströmenden Luft eine Druckdifferenz (Sog) und somit Geschwindigkeit verleiht. In dieser Patentanmeldung wird vorgeschlagen einen elektrischen Grillkohle-Anzünder, mit einem Schlot zu kombinieren. Bisher nachteilig ist die einzelne Verwendung eines elektrischen Anzünders (1), da auf diesen die Kohlestücke aufgelegt und am Herunterrollen gehindert werden müssen. In einem Schlot (2) untergebracht, stapelt sich die Kohle hingegen übereinander, die heißen Brandgase erwärmen darüber liegende Kohlestücke. Als weiterer wichtiger Vorteil wird gesehen, das die Grillkohle im erfindungsgemäßen Gerät elektrisch vorgeheizt werden kann, während der Grill schon brennt und eine zweite „Befeuerung” vorgesehen ist. Vorteilhafter Weise sind die Windungen des Heizelementes so eng gewickelt, das kleine bis mittelgroße Kohlestücke nicht hindurchfallen können. Optional ist ein Aschefang an der Unterseite zu befestigen oder in Form eines separaten Behältnisses nutzbar.
