In addition, when the developing coupling 320 receives the driving force from the developing driving head, the developing coupling 320 can also realize driving of the photosensitive drum 220, that is, the process cartridge adopts a single driving structure, which can make the structure of both the process cartridge and the electronic image forming apparatus relatively simple, and reduce the cost, compared to a double driving structure.
As shown in fig. 1 and 3, the outer side of the driving side bearing 120 is further provided with a developing protecting cover 140, and the developing protecting cover 140 covers a part of the developing roller gear 330, the powder feeding roller gear 340, the stirring frame gear and the developing coupling 320, so that the function of protecting the driving assembly can be achieved.
Specifically, the developing cover 140 is provided with a cylindrical portion protruding along a side away from the developing frame 110, the cylindrical portion is hollow, an axial direction thereof extends along a longitudinal direction of the developing frame 110, and a portion of the developing coupling 320 extends from the cylindrical portion to the outside of the developing cover 140.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the conductive-side cap 240 is provided outside the conductive-side bearing 130, the driving-side cap 230 is provided outside the developing cover 140, and the driving-side cap 230 at least partially overlaps the developing cover 140 as viewed in the longitudinal direction of the process cartridge. The driving-side end cap 230 and the conductive-side end cap 240 each cover at least a portion of the ends of the drum frame 210 and the developing frame 110, respectively. The driving-side end cap 230 is fixedly connected to an end of the drum frame 210.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the driving side end cap 230 is provided with a second through hole 232, and a portion of the developing coupling 320 is exposed through the second through hole 232 when the driving side end cap 230 is mounted at the end of the developing frame 110, so that the developing coupling 320 is engaged with the developing driving head to receive the driving force.
The separation unit is configured to receive a force of a developing separation control unit of the electronic imaging device, so as to drive the photosensitive drum 220 to move along the third direction.
Alternatively, the separation unit may be provided at the driving end (one end in the A1 direction) of the process cartridge, at the conductive end (one end in the A2 direction) of the process cartridge, or at both ends of the process cartridge in the first direction (A1 and A2 direction).
Specifically, the process cartridge has a contact state and a release state, and when the process cartridge is in the contact state, the photosensitive drum 220 is in contact with the transfer belt; when the process cartridge is in the detached state, the photosensitive drum 220 is detached from the transfer belt. The separation unit can move the photosensitive drum 220 in the third direction to switch the process cartridge between the contact state and the separation state.
More specifically, when a color image is to be developed, the process cartridges of the four colors are in contact, and the developing drive heads corresponding to the process cartridges of the four colors rotate to drive the developing coupling 320 to rotate, so as to perform a developing operation. When developing a black image alone, only the black process cartridge is in a contact state, the developing drive head corresponding to the black process cartridge rotates the developing coupling 320, the other three color process cartridges are in a disengaged state, and the developing drive heads corresponding to the three color process cartridges also do not rotate.
In this application, when developing black image alone, drive the photoreceptor drum 220 of the color processing box through the separation unit along the third direction motion, can make photoreceptor drum 220 of the color processing box break away from with the transfer belt to prevent to produce great friction between photoreceptor drum 220 of the color processing box and the transfer belt, make the transfer belt rotate smoothly, in order to carry out development work.
Further, in the present application, when the process cartridge is in the contact state and the release state, the developing roller is in contact with the photosensitive drum 220, that is, the drum roller is not separated.
Regarding the specific structure of the separation unit, the present application provides several embodiments in which the other structures of the process cartridge, such as the driving assembly, are slightly different.
Example 1
First, an electronic image forming apparatus adapted to the process cartridge provided in the present embodiment will be described. The electrophotographic apparatus includes a development separation control unit 9, the development separation control unit 9 being provided with a first force application member 90, the first force application member 90 having a first urging portion 91 and a second urging portion 92.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, in the present embodiment, the driving assembly further includes a photosensitive coupling 300 and a photosensitive drum gear 310. The photosensitive coupling 300 is disposed at one end of the photosensitive drum 220 in the A1 direction, and is in a disconnected state with respect to the drive transmission of the photosensitive drum 220, i.e., the photosensitive coupling 300 does not drive the photosensitive drum 220 to rotate after receiving the driving force of the photosensitive driving head of the electronic imaging device, and is only used for engaging with the photosensitive driving head to eliminate abnormal noise possibly generated by the electronic imaging device when the photosensitive driving head idles.
Specifically, the driving-side end cap 230 is provided with a first through hole 231, and a portion of the photosensitive coupling 300 is exposed through the first through hole 231 when the driving-side end cap 230 is mounted on the end of the drum frame 210, so that the photosensitive coupling 300 is engaged with the photosensitive driving head to receive driving force.
Meanwhile, since the photosensitive drum gear 310 is engaged with the developing roller gear 330, the developing coupling 320 receives the driving force to rotate the developing roller, and also drives the photosensitive drum 220 to rotate together. In the third direction, the developing coupling 320 is located on the upper side (C1 direction side) of the photosensitive coupling 300.
Further, the photosensitive drum 220 is provided so as to be movable in the third direction (C1 and C2 directions) with respect to the end caps, and the upper end (one end in the C1 direction) of the first through hole 231 on the driving-side end cap 230 is extended upward so that the first through hole 231 is substantially elliptical, thereby reserving a space for movement of the photosensitive drum 220 in the third direction.
As shown in fig. 3 to 6, in the present embodiment, the separation unit includes a first separation assembly including a first pushing member 510 and a movable member 520 provided on the drum unit 200. Wherein the first pushers 510 are swingably provided on the driving-side end cap 230 of the drum unit 200, the first pushers 510 rotationally move in a plane where the second direction (B1 and B2 directions) intersects the third direction (C1 and C2 directions).
Specifically, the driving-side cover 230 has a support shaft 233 on an inner side wall (side wall facing the A2 direction), and the first presser 510 has a shaft hole 513 near the left end (one end in the B1 direction), and the first presser 510 is fitted over the support shaft 233 through the shaft hole 513 so that the first presser 510 can rotate around the support shaft 233. The lower end (one end in the C2 direction) of the first urging member 510 protrudes from the lower end of the process cartridge, so that the lower end of the first urging member 510 can reach a position to be engaged with the first force applying member 90 when the process cartridge is mounted to the electronic image forming apparatus.
More specifically, the left lower end (one end in the B1 and C2 directions) of the first pressing member 510 is provided with a first protrusion 511, the right lower end (one end in the B2 and C2 directions) of the first pressing member 510 is provided with a second protrusion 512, and the first protrusion 511 and the second protrusion 512 are for receiving the forces of the first urging portion 91 and the second urging portion 92, respectively. The first pushing member 510 is further provided with a locking portion 514, where the locking portion 514 is locked on the driving side end cover 230, for fixing the first pushing member 510, and has a first position and a second position.
The movable member 520 is disposed on the driving side end cover 230, the moving direction thereof is to move up and down along the third direction (the directions of C1 and C2), and the movable member 520 and the first pushing member 510 are disposed opposite to each other in the third direction, i.e. the projections of the movable member 520 and the first pushing member 510 in the third direction are at least partially overlapped, and the movable member 520 is located on the upper side (the side of the direction of C1) of the first pushing member 510.
Specifically, the inner side wall (side wall facing the A2 direction) of the driving side end cover 230 is provided with a first limiting portion 234, the movable member 520 is provided with a limited portion 521 near the upper end (one end in the C1 direction), and the limited portion 521 is sleeved on the first limiting portion 234 to limit the movement of the movable member 520 in the third direction within a reasonable range.
As shown in fig. 4 to 6, when the first protrusion 511 receives the force of the first force application portion 91, the first pushing member 510 rotates counterclockwise (in the direction shown in fig. 6), and after the first pushing member 510 is out of contact with the movable member 520, the movable member 520 moves downward in the third direction due to its own weight and the weight of the photosensitive drum 220. Meanwhile, the photosensitive drum 220 moves downward in the third direction along with the movable member 520, contacting the transfer belt. In this process, the locking portion 514 moves from the first position to the second position, and fixes the first pushing member 510 at the second position.
When the second protrusion 512 receives the force of the second force application portion 92, the first pushing member 510 rotates clockwise (in the direction shown in fig. 6), and after the first pushing member 510 abuts against the movable member 520, the movable member 520 moves in the third direction under the pushing force of the first pushing member 510. At the same time, the photosensitive drum 220 is driven to move in the third direction, out of contact with the transfer belt. In this process, the locking portion 514 moves from the second position to the first position, and fixes the first pushing member 510 at the first position, that is, fixes the photosensitive drum 220 at a position out of contact with the transfer belt.
As shown in fig. 1 to 6, when the process cartridge is mounted in the electronic image forming apparatus, the electronic image forming apparatus gives an instruction when the electronic image forming apparatus performs a preparatory operation, the photosensitive drive head and the development drive head of the electronic image forming apparatus output driving forces (the photosensitive drum 220 does not receive the driving force of the photosensitive drive head in this embodiment), and the development separation control unit 9 is controlled to move in the B2 direction so that the second projection 512 abuts against the first force application member 90 and receives a force from the second force application portion 92. The first pushing member 510 rotates clockwise (in the direction shown in fig. 6) under the action of the second force application portion 92 until, after the first pushing member 510 abuts against the movable member 520, the movable member 520 moves in the third direction under the pushing force of the first pushing member 510, and drives the photosensitive drum 220 to move in the third direction (in the direction C1) so as to be out of contact with the transfer belt. In this process, the locking portion 514 of the first pressing member 510 is moved from the second position to the first position, and the first pressing member 510 is fixed in the first position, that is, the photosensitive drum 220 is fixed in a position out of contact with the transfer belt. At this time, the state of the process cartridge is the disengaged state, and then the rotation of the developing drive head is stopped until the preparation operation is completed, and the rotation of the photosensitive drive head is also stopped.
Although the photosensitive drum 220 moves upward, the distance of upward movement is not large (the distance of upward movement only needs to ensure that the photosensitive drum 220 is separated from the transfer belt), so the photosensitive drum 220 is still in contact with the developing roller in the separated state, i.e., the drum roller is not separated. When the electronic image forming apparatus does not need to perform the developing operation, it maintains a state after the preparation operation is completed.
When the electronic image forming apparatus needs to perform a developing operation, the electronic image forming apparatus issues an instruction to control the developing separation control unit 9 to move in the B1 direction so that the first protrusion 511 receives the force of the first force application portion 91. The first pushing member 510 rotates counterclockwise (in the direction shown in fig. 6) under the action of the first force application portion 91, so that the first pushing member 510 is out of contact with the movable member 520, and the movable member 520 moves downward (in the direction of C2) in the third direction under the action of the self-weight and the weight of the photosensitive drum 220. Meanwhile, the photosensitive drum 220 moves downward in the third direction along with the movable member 520, contacting the transfer belt. In this process, the latching portion 514 of the first pressing member 510 is moved from the first position to the second position, and the first pressing member 510 is fixed at the second position, that is, the photosensitive drum 220 is held at a position in contact with the transfer belt, at which time the state of the process cartridge is in a contact state (developable state). Meanwhile, the developing drive head of the electronic imaging device rotates to drive the developing coupling 320 to rotate, and then drive the developing roller and the photosensitive drum 220 to rotate, so as to perform developing work.
Example two
First, an electronic image forming apparatus adapted to the process cartridge provided in the present embodiment will be described. The electronic image forming apparatus includes a first pressing mechanism and a development separation control unit 9, the development separation control unit 9 being further provided with a second force application member 95, the second force application member 95 having a third force application portion 96 and a fourth force application portion 97.
In the present embodiment, the developing unit 100 is rotatable with respect to the drum unit 200, the rotation axis of the developing unit 100 is the axis of the developing coupling 320, and the developing unit 100 is rotatable about the rotation axis after the force receiving member 400 receives the force of the second force applying member 95 of the electrophotographic image forming apparatus.
As shown in fig. 7 to 9, the separation unit includes a force receiving member 400 and a second separation assembly, and the driving assembly further includes a first gear portion 350 excluding the photosensitive coupling 300.
As shown in fig. 8 and 9, a first gear portion 350 is provided at one end of the photosensitive drum 220 in the A1 direction, and the first gear portion 350 is engaged with the developing roller gear 330 to indirectly receive the driving force rotation of the electrophotographic image forming apparatus, thereby driving the photosensitive drum 220 to rotate.
The photosensitive drum 220 is provided with a groove portion 221, a circular truncated cone portion 222, and a first connection portion 223, and the groove portion 221, the circular truncated cone portion 222, and the first connection portion 223 are sequentially disposed outside the first gear portion 350 (on one side in the A1 direction) in the A1 direction, that is, the groove portion 221 is closest to the first gear portion 350, and the first connection portion 223 is farthest from the first gear portion 350. The first gear portion 350, the groove portion 221, the truncated cone portion 222, and the first connecting portion 223 are all coaxially disposed with the photosensitive drum 220. The diameter of the groove part 221 is smaller than that of the round platform part 222, a guide surface 224 is arranged at the joint of the groove part 221 and the round platform part 222, the guide surface 224 is an arc surface or an inclined surface, the first connecting part 223 is arranged at the center of the end surface of the round platform part 222, the first connecting part 223 is a columnar protrusion, and a groove is arranged on the circumferential surface of the first connecting part 223.
As shown in fig. 8, a force receiving member 400 is provided at the driving end of the process cartridge, the force receiving member 400 being movable relative to the developing unit 100. The force receiving member 400 is movably disposed between the drive-side bearing 120 and the developing cover 140.
Specifically, the force receiving member 400 has a pressure receiving portion 420 at an upper portion thereof and a force receiving portion 410 at a lower portion thereof. At least a portion of the pressure receiving portion 420 protrudes from the upper portions of the drive side bearing 120 and the developing cover 140 so that when the process cartridge is mounted to the electronic image forming apparatus, the pressure receiving portion 420 can be pressed by a first pressing mechanism within the electronic image forming apparatus so that the entire force receiving member 400 moves downward with respect to the developing unit 100, thereby moving the force receiving portion 410 at the lower end of the force receiving member 400 to a position to cooperate with the developing separation control unit 9 of the electronic image forming apparatus.
The force receiving portion 410 is provided on the force receiving member 400, and before the force of the first pressing mechanism is not received, the force receiving portion 410 is positioned at a position where it cannot be engaged with the developing separation control unit 9, so that damage caused by interference and collision between the force receiving portion 410 and the developing separation control unit 9 during the process of mounting the process cartridge can be avoided.
Preferably, the force receiving member 400 may be provided with a guide groove 430 extending in the third direction, and the developing cover 140 may be provided with a guide post cooperating with the guide groove 430. When installed, the guide posts are inserted into the guide slots 430, which can guide and limit the movement of the force receiver 400.
Alternatively, guide posts may be provided on the force receiving member 400, and guide grooves may be provided on the developing cover 140 or the driving side bearing 120 to achieve the same effect.
Alternatively, the force receiving member 400 may be provided at the conductive end of the process cartridge, i.e., between the conductive side bearing 130 and the conductive side cap 240. The force receiving members 400 may be provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the process cartridge.
As shown in fig. 8, the second separation assembly is provided to the drum unit 200, and includes an elastic member 610 and a second pushing member 620, the elastic member 610 being capable of providing a force to move the photosensitive drum 220 upward (in the C1 direction), the second pushing member 620 being capable of being driven by the developing unit 100 and pushing the photosensitive drum 220 downward (in the C2 direction).
As shown in fig. 7 and 8, a second pushing member 620 is movably provided between the driving-side end cap 230 and the end of the drum frame 210, and the moving direction of the second pushing member 620 is along the first direction (A1 and A2 directions). The second presser 620 is a substantially rod-shaped member extending from the upper end of the driving-side end cap 230 to the position of the photosensitive drum 220.
As shown in fig. 10, the second pushing member 620 includes a first segment 621, a second segment 622, a third segment 623, and a pushing portion 624 connected in sequence, the first segment 621 extending in a first direction, the second segment 622 extending in a second direction, and the third segment 623 extending in a third direction. It will be appreciated that the configuration of the second pressing member 620 in the multi-stage bent shape is for matching or avoiding the structures on the driving side end cap 230, the drum frame 210, and the developing unit 100, and is not the only form of the shape of the second pressing member 620, and the specific shape of the second pressing member 620 is not limited in this embodiment.
Alternatively, the second pushing member 620 may be movably provided at the conductive end of the process cartridge, i.e., between the conductive-side end cap 240 and the end of the drum frame 210. The second pushing members 620 may be provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the process cartridge.
As shown in fig. 10, the end of the first segment 621 of the second biasing member 620 is provided with a first protrusion having a first contact surface 625, and the first contact surface 625 is beveled. A second protrusion is provided on the third section 623 of the second pushing member 620 near the pushing portion 624, and a second contact surface 626 is provided on the second protrusion, where the second contact surface 626 is a shaped inclined surface inclined with respect to the first direction, the second direction and the third direction.
As shown in fig. 11, the developing cover 140 is provided with a third contact surface 141 and a fourth contact surface 142 that are respectively engaged with the first contact surface 625 and the second contact surface 626.
Specifically, a third protrusion is provided on the upper end of the developing cover 140 near one side of the drum unit 200, and a third contact surface 141 for matching with the first contact surface 625 is provided on the third protrusion, and the third contact surface 141 is an inclined surface; the developing protecting cover 140 is further provided with a fourth protrusion, the fourth protrusion is provided with a fourth contact surface 142, the fourth contact surface 142 is a special-shaped inclined surface inclined relative to the first direction, the second direction and the third direction, and the special-shaped inclined surface can be formed by combining a plurality of inclined surfaces with different slopes. In the third direction, the third contact surface 141 and the fourth contact surface 142 are located on both sides of the developing coupling 320, i.e., on both sides of the rotation axis of the developing unit 100, respectively, and thus, the third contact surface 141 and the fourth contact surface 142 have opposite movement tracks when the developing unit 100 rotates relative to the drum unit 200.
As shown in fig. 10 and 12, the pushing portion 624 of the second pushing member 620 is substantially arc-shaped, having the same curvature as the groove portion 221 and the truncated cone portion 222 on the photosensitive drum 220. The edge of the lower end (one end in the C2 direction) of the pushing portion 624 toward the A1 direction is provided as an arc surface or an inclined surface for cooperation with the guide surface 224 between the groove portion 221 and the circular truncated cone portion 222, so that the pushing portion 624 and the photosensitive drum 220 can relatively move along the guide surface 224. In the contact state, the pushing portion 624 abuts on the truncated cone portion 222 of the photosensitive drum 220, and the photosensitive drum 220 contacts the transfer belt.
As shown in fig. 8 and 10, the pushing portion 624 is provided with a restricting portion 6241 at both ends in the second direction, the driving-side end cap 230 is provided with a second restricting portion 235, the restricting portion 6241 is a protrusion, and the second restricting portion 235 is a groove extending in the first direction. In assembly, the restricting portion 6241 is fitted into the second restricting portion 235, and the restricting portion 6241 is restricted by the second restricting portion 235 so as not to be movable in the second direction or the third direction, but to be movable only in the first direction along the second restricting portion 235.
As shown in fig. 7, the elastic member 610 is preferably a tension spring, one end of which is connected to the driving-side end cap 230, and the other end of which is connected to the first connection portion 223 on the photosensitive drum 220. Specifically, the hook portion, which may be a tension spring, is hooked in the groove of the first connection portion 223. The driving side end cap 230 may be provided with a second connection part 236 having the same structure as the first connection part 223, and one end of the tension spring is connected to the second connection part 236.
In the contact state, the tension spring is configured to be in a stretched state, generating an upward moving force on the photosensitive drum 220, but the tension spring cannot pull the photosensitive drum 220 to move upward due to the pressing force of the second pressing member 620 on the photosensitive drum 220.
As shown in fig. 7, 12 and 13, when the process cartridge is mounted in the electronic image forming apparatus, the electronic image forming apparatus gives an instruction when the electronic image forming apparatus performs a preparatory operation, the photosensitive drive head and the developing drive head of the electronic image forming apparatus output driving forces (the present embodiment does not receive the driving force of the photosensitive drive head), and the developing separation control unit 9 is controlled to move in the B2 direction, and the fourth urging portion 97 of the second urging member 95 abuts against the force receiving portion 410 and then drives the entire developing unit 100 to rotate (for example, counterclockwise) with the axis of the developing coupling 320 as the rotation center through the force receiving member 400. At this time, the developing roller and the photosensitive drum 220 are briefly separated, and the third contact surface 141 of the developing cover 140 contacts the first contact surface 625 of the second pressing member 620, and applies a force to the first contact surface 625 during rotation to move the second pressing member 620. Since the movement of the second pushing member 620 in the second direction or the third direction is restricted by the second restricting portion 235, the second pushing member 620 moves only in the first direction along the A2 direction, the pushing portion 624 moves along the guide surface 224 from the position abutting against the circular truncated cone portion 222 to the position where the groove portion 221 is located, and since the diameter of the groove portion 221 is smaller than that of the circular truncated cone portion 222, the pushing portion 624 no longer abuts against the photosensitive drum 220, and the photosensitive drum 220 moves upward (moves in the C1 direction) under the tensile force of the elastic member 610 until the groove portion 221 abuts against the pushing portion 624. At this time, the photosensitive drum 220 is separated from the transfer belt in the third direction, and the state of the process cartridge is the separated state. At the same time, the developing drive head stops rotating. After the preparation operation is completed, the photosensitive drive head also stops rotating. Since the photosensitive drum 220 moves upward, the photosensitive drum 220 is still in contact with the developing roller in the disengaged state, i.e., the drum roller is not separated. When the electronic image forming apparatus does not need to perform the developing operation, it maintains a state after the preparation operation is completed.
As shown in fig. 7, 12 and 13, when the electronic image forming apparatus needs to perform a developing operation, the electronic image forming apparatus issues an instruction to control the developing separation control unit to move in the direction B1, after the third urging portion 96 of the second urging member 95 abuts against the force receiving portion 410, the whole developing unit 100 is driven to rotate (e.g., clockwise) with the axis of the developing coupling 320 as the rotation center by the force receiving member 400, the fourth contact surface 142 on the developing cover 140 contacts and interacts with the second contact surface 626 on the second urging member 620, so that the second urging member 620 moves in the direction A1, the urging portion 624 moves along the guide surface 224 between the groove portion 221 and the round table portion 222, the photosensitive drum 220 is urged to move downward (move in the direction C2), the elastic member 610 is again stretched until the urging portion 624 moves to a position abutting against the round table portion 222, and the photosensitive drum 220 moves downward to contact with the transfer belt, and at this time the state of the process cartridge is in the contact state (developable state). Meanwhile, the developing drive head of the electronic imaging device rotates to drive the developing coupling 320 to rotate, and then drive the developing roller and the photosensitive drum 220 to rotate, so as to perform developing work.
Example III
The third embodiment differs from the second embodiment in that the photosensitive drum 220 and the second pushing member 620 are different in structure.
As shown in fig. 14 to 16, a second pushing member 620 is movably provided between the driving-side end cap 230 and the end of the drum frame 210, and the moving direction of the second pushing member 620 is in the third direction (C1 and C2 directions). The upper end (one end along the C1 direction) of the second pushing member 620 is further provided with an elastic buckle 627, and the elastic buckle 627 is engaged on the driving side end cover 230, so as to prevent the second pushing member 620 from being separated from the driving side end cover 230 when moving.
As shown in fig. 16, the photosensitive drum 220 is provided with the groove portion 221 eliminated, and the circular truncated cone portion 222 and the first connecting portion 223 are provided in this order outside the first gear portion 350.
As shown in fig. 14 to 16, when the process cartridge is mounted in the electronic image forming apparatus, the electronic image forming apparatus gives an instruction when the electronic image forming apparatus performs a preparatory operation, the photosensitive drive head and the development drive head of the electronic image forming apparatus output driving forces (the present embodiment does not receive the driving force of the photosensitive drive head), and the development separation control unit 9 is controlled to move in the B2 direction, and the fourth force application portion 97 of the second force application member 95 abuts against the force receiving portion 410 and then drives the entire development unit 100 to rotate (e.g., counterclockwise) with the axis of the development coupling 320 as the rotation center through the force receiving member 400. At this time, the developing roller and the photosensitive drum 220 are separated briefly, the third contact surface 141 on the developing cover 140 is in contact with the first contact surface 625 of the second pressing member 620 and applies a force to the first contact surface 625 during rotation to move the second pressing member 620, and since the movement of the second pressing member 620 in the first direction or the second direction is restricted by the second restricting portion 235, the second pressing member 620 moves only in the third direction along the C1 direction, the pushing portion 624 no longer presses the photosensitive drum 220, the photosensitive drum 220 moves upward (moves in the C1 direction) in synchronization with the second pressing member 620 under the tensile force of the elastic member 610, and the photosensitive drum 220 is separated from the transfer belt in the third direction. At the same time, the developing drive head stops rotating. After the preparation operation is completed, the photosensitive drive head also stops rotating. Since the photosensitive drum 220 moves upward, the photosensitive drum 220 is still in contact with the developing roller at this time, i.e., the drum roller is not separated. When the electronic image forming apparatus does not need to perform the developing operation, it maintains a state after the preparation operation is completed.
When the electronic imaging device needs to perform development work, the electronic imaging device sends out an instruction to control the development separation control unit to move towards the direction B1, after the third force application part 96 of the second force application member 95 is abutted against the force receiving part 410, the force receiving member 400 drives the whole developing unit 100 to rotate (for example, clockwise) by taking the axis of the developing coupling 320 as the rotation center, the fourth contact surface 142 on the developing protecting cover 140 contacts and interacts with the second contact surface 626 on the second pushing member 620, so that the second pushing member 620 moves downwards along the direction C2, the photosensitive drum 220 is pushed to synchronously move downwards (move along the direction C2), the elastic member 610 is stretched again, and the photosensitive drum 220 moves downwards to contact with the transfer belt. Meanwhile, the developing drive head of the electronic imaging device rotates to drive the developing coupling 320 to rotate, and then drive the developing roller and the photosensitive drum 220 to rotate, so as to perform developing work.
Other structures of the process cartridge of this embodiment are the same as those of the embodiment, and will not be described here again.
Example IV
First, an electronic image forming apparatus adapted to the process cartridge provided in the present embodiment will be described. As shown in fig. 17 and 18, the electronic image forming apparatus includes a development separation control unit 9 and a tray assembly 8, the tray assembly 8 being for detachably mounting four color process cartridges. Further, the tray assembly 8 can be pulled out from the electronic image forming apparatus to facilitate mounting of the process cartridge.
In the present embodiment, the developing coupling 320 passes through the developing cover 140 and is capable of an axial telescopic motion in the driving side end cap 230 to be coupled to or decoupled from the developing driving head to receive or not receive the driving force.
As shown in fig. 19, the driving assembly further includes a photosensitive drum gear 310 fixedly sleeved at the driving end of the photosensitive drum 220, and a second gear portion 360 rotatably coupled to the developing coupling 320 in a relatively axially sliding manner so as to be rotatable by the developing coupling 320 without interfering with the axial movement of the developing coupling 320, and the second gear portion 360 is capable of maintaining its axial position so as to be capable of maintaining engagement with the developing roller gear 330.
In addition, the driving assembly may further provide a third gear portion 370 between the second gear portion 360 and the photosensitive drum gear 310 to achieve transmission.
In this embodiment, the separation unit includes a force receiving member 400, a retraction assembly, and a reset member.
As shown in fig. 19 and 20, the force receiving member 400 is constructed close to that in the second embodiment. The force receiving member 400 is hinged to the drive side bearing 120 or abuts the developing cover 140.
The force receiving member 400 may rotate the developing unit 100 upon receiving the force of the second force applying member 95 of the developing separation control unit 9. The developing unit 100 may rotate the drum unit 200 relative to the tray assembly 8 with the rotation shaft of the developing coupling 320 as an axis, so as to move the drum unit 200 along a third direction, and further contact or separate the photosensitive drum 220 with or from the transfer belt below. Since the drum frame 210 is fixed with the driving side end cap 230 and the conductive side end cap 240, respectively, that is, the entire process cartridge can be rotated relative to the tray assembly 8 by the developing unit 100.
Specifically, when the process cartridge is in the detached state, the photosensitive drum 220 is detached from the transfer belt, and the developing unit 100 and the drum unit 200 are in the raised positions; when the process cartridge is in the contact state, the photosensitive drum 220 is in contact with the transfer belt, and the developing unit 100 and the drum unit 200 are in the operating position.
Further, the tray assembly 8 is configured to allow the process cartridge to rotate within a certain range, and in particular, to allow the drive side end cap 230 and the conductive side end cap 240 to rotate within a certain range relative to the tray assembly 8.
Further, as shown in fig. 18, the developing unit 100 is provided with a lock portion 150, and the lock portion 150 can hold the process cartridge in the disengaged state (i.e., the raised position) until the force receiving member 400 receives the force of the third force applying portion 96 of the developing separation control unit 9, and the lock portion 150 fails, and the developing unit 100 returns from the disengaged state to the contact state (i.e., the operating position).
Specifically, as shown in fig. 18, the locking portion 150 is a protruding portion formed on the outside of the drive-side bearing 120. It is understood that the locking portion 150 may be provided at other positions of the developing unit 100 or the drum unit 200 as long as it can be engaged with the tray assembly 8 and form a lock.
As shown in fig. 19 and 20, the retraction assembly is disposed between the force receiving member 400 and the developing coupling 320. The retraction assembly includes a linkage 710, a first member 720 and a second member 730. Both ends of the link 710 are hinged with the first member 720 and the force receiving member 400, respectively. The first member 720 is rotatably sleeved on the developing coupling 320, and the first member 720 is restrained between the second member 730 and the inner wall of the developing cover 140 in the axial direction. The first member 720 can be rotated by the link 710. When the first member 720 rotates, the first member 720 can push the second member 730 to move along the axial direction towards the direction close to the developing frame 110, and the second member 730 moves to drive the developing coupling 320 to move towards the direction close to the developing frame 110, i.e. the developing coupling 320 contracts.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 20, the first member 720 has a first coupling portion 721, the first coupling portion 721 extending in the axial direction toward the developing frame 110, and having a first inclined surface and a flat surface adjacent to the first inclined surface. The second member 730 has a second coupling portion 731, and the second coupling portion 731 protrudes in a direction away from the developing frame 110 in the axial direction and has a second inclined surface and a flat surface adjacent to the second inclined surface.
The first slope of the first coupling part 721 can contact with the second slope of the second coupling part 731 and apply a force until the plane of the first coupling part 721 abuts against the plane of the second coupling part 731. In this process, the first member 720 pushes the second member 730 to move in the axial direction toward the developing frame 110, so that the second member 730 drives the developing coupling 320 to shrink.
The reset member is used to reset the extension of the developing coupling 320. Alternatively, the restoring member is a spring or other elastic member provided in the cylindrical portion of the developing coupling 320, one end of which is fixed to the developing coupling 320 and the other end of which is fixed to the developing frame 110.
When the process cartridge is mounted in the electronic image forming apparatus, the electronic image forming apparatus performs a preparation action and does not require a developing operation after the preparation is completed, the left side of the lower end portion of the force receiving member 400 receives the force of the fourth force applying portion 97 of the developing separation control unit 9 as seen from the direction of the driving side of the process cartridge, the force receiving member 400 rotates counterclockwise, driving the link 710 to move such that the first member 720 rotates counterclockwise, the first coupling portion 721 on the first member 720 pushes the second coupling portion 731 of the second member 730 such that the second member 730 moves in the axial direction, thereby driving the developing coupling 320 to shrink in the axial direction to be separated from the developing driving head of the electronic image forming apparatus.
The force receiving member 400 continues to rotate and then abuts against the driving side bearing 120 or the developing cover 140 to bring the developing unit 100 to rotate counterclockwise, and since the drum unit 200 is connected to the developing unit 100, the drum unit 200 is simultaneously brought to rotate counterclockwise together with the developing unit 100, the developing unit 100 and the drum unit 200 are rotated from the operating position to the raised position, so that the photosensitive drum 220 is separated from the transfer belt, the locking portion 150 moves with the developing unit 100 and passes over the rib 81 of the tray assembly 8, abuts against the rib 81, and holds the developing unit 100 and the drum unit 200 in the raised position. When the force of the fourth urging portion 97 of the development separation control unit 9 is withdrawn, the development unit 100 and the drum unit 200 are not affected, and the photosensitive drum 220 remains separated from the transfer belt.
When the electronic image forming apparatus needs to perform a developing operation, the right side of the lower end portion of the force receiving member 400 receives the force of the third force applying portion 96 of the developing separation control unit 9, the force receiving member 400 rotates clockwise, the developing unit 100 is driven to rotate clockwise, the locking portion 150 moves with the developing unit 100, and is disengaged from the tray assembly 8, the developing unit 100 and the drum unit 200 return to the working positions from the raised positions, so that the photosensitive drum 220 is in contact with the transfer belt; meanwhile, the force receiving member 400 drives the connecting rod 710 to move, so that the first member 720 rotates clockwise, the first member 720 is reset, the second member 730 loses the pushing force exerted by the first member 720, and under the action of the resetting member, the developing coupling 320 extends axially and drives the second member 730 to reset together. Meanwhile, the developing coupling 320 is engaged with a developing drive head of the electronic imaging device, and the developing drive head rotates to drive the developing coupling 320 to rotate, thereby driving the developing roller and the photosensitive drum 220 to rotate for developing.
When a color image is required to be developed, the developing units 100 and 200 of the four color process cartridges are in the working positions, the photosensitive drums 220 are in contact with the transfer belt, and the photosensitive drums 220 and the developing rollers are driven to rotate by the developing couplings 320 to perform the developing operation. When developing a black image alone, only the developing unit 100 and the drum unit 200 of the process cartridge of black are in the operating position, the developing units 100 and the drum units 200 of the process cartridges of the other three colors are in the raised position, and the photosensitive drums 220 thereof are separated from the transfer belt, so that the movement of the transfer belt is not affected, while the developing drive heads corresponding to the process cartridges of the other three colors stop rotating, and the photosensitive drums 220 and the developing rollers 22 do not receive the driving force and remain stationary. Since the developing unit 100 and the drum unit 200 may rotate the developing coupling 320 to a certain extent, the developing coupling 320 is axially retracted in this example and is further separated from the developing driving head (in a stationary state), so that the developing unit 100 and the drum unit 200 can smoothly rotate, and are not limited and affected by the developing driving head, and the developing driving head is prevented from being damaged.
The foregoing description is only of the preferred embodiments of the present application and is not intended to limit the same, but rather, various modifications and variations may be made by those skilled in the art. Any modification, equivalent replacement, improvement, etc. made within the spirit and principles of the present application should be included in the protection scope of the present application.
