Abstract
The invention relates to a piece of furniture and a furniture component thereof, wherein the furniture component comprises a plate and a fitting. The plate is arranged with a first connection feature; the fitting is provided with a second connecting feature for detachably interconnecting with the first connecting feature, the second connecting feature comprises a space, and a guiding section and a clamping section are arranged in the space and adjacent to the guiding section; the space is used for providing access for the first connection feature when the accessory is mounted on the board, and the guide section is used for guiding the first connection feature to the clamping section so that the accessory can be clamped on the board.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to furniture, and more particularly, to a piece of furniture and a furniture assembly thereof capable of installing at least one fitting according to a user's requirement.
Background
A lever for a drawer is disclosed in U.S. patent publication No. US 11,219,312B2. The rod body is provided with a spring assembly, and the spring assembly can apply elasticity to a length adjusting piece of the rod body. One end of the lever is connected to a wall assembly, such as a front or rear wall of a drawer.
A strut for a drawer is disclosed, for example, in U.S. patent publication No. US 11,122,895B2. The strut is provided at one end with two locking members and a movable actuating member to which a user can apply a force for driving the locking members.
However, how to develop a different product to meet the needs of market diversification becomes a non-neglectable issue.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide furniture and components thereof, wherein at least one accessory can be installed according to the requirements of a user.
According to one aspect of the invention, a furniture assembly includes a first plate and a fitting. The first plate is arranged with a first connection feature; the fitting is provided with a second connecting feature for detachably interconnecting with the first connecting feature, one of the first connecting feature and the second connecting feature comprises a space, and a guiding section and a clamping section are arranged in the space and adjacent to the guiding section; wherein, when the fitting is mounted on the first board, the space is used for providing the other of the first connection feature and the second connection feature to enter, and the guiding section is used for guiding the other of the first connection feature and the second connection feature to the clamping section so that the fitting can be clamped on the first board.

Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, a piece of furniture 20 according to an embodiment of the present invention is exemplified by a drawer, but is not limited in implementation. The furniture 20 includes a first side wall 22, a second side wall 24, a bottom panel 26, a first panel 28, and a second panel 30.
The first side wall 22 and the second side wall 24 are, for example, respectively located at the left and right sides of the bottom plate 26, which are merely for illustration to facilitate understanding of the relative positional relationship, i.e. the left and right sides are interchangeable, and are not intended to limit the specific positions of the two sides; on the other hand, the first plate 28 and the second plate 30 are located on the front and rear sides of the bottom plate 26, respectively. The first plate 28 is, for example, a front plate, and the second plate 30 is, for example, a rear plate (or back plate), but is not limited in implementation.
The first side wall 22, the second side wall 24, the bottom plate 26, the first plate 28 and the second plate 30 together define a receiving space for receiving articles.
The furniture 20 has a length direction X, a width direction Y, and a height direction Z. The length direction X, the width direction Y and the height direction Z are mutually perpendicular directions. Further, the furniture 20 has substantially the same structural configuration on the left and right sides. The left and right sides of the furniture 20 are provided with a first fitting 32 and a second fitting 34 to increase the height of the left and right sides of the furniture 20 according to the user's needs, and the heights of the first plate 28 and the second plate 30 can be matched accordingly.
The following embodiments will be described with reference to the first fitting 32 only. Preferably, the first fitting 32 is a rod or a wall, which is exemplified herein by, but not limited to, a rod having a length substantially equal to that of the first side wall 22. Wherein the first plate 28 and the first fitting 32 (also referred to as a fitting) may constitute a furniture component. Preferably, the furniture assembly further comprises the second plate 30. Wherein the first fitting 32 is configured to be detachably coupled to the first plate 28 and the second plate 30.
As shown in fig. 3, the first plate 28 is provided with a first connecting feature 40 and the first fitting 32 includes a first portion 36 and a second portion 38, such as a front portion and a rear portion, opposite one another, but is not limited in implementation. The first fitting 32 is arranged with a second connection feature 42 for releasable interconnection with the first connection feature 40 of the first plate 28.
Preferably, the second connecting feature 42 is located adjacent the first portion 36 of the first fitting 32.
Preferably, the second plate 30 is provided with a first engaging structure 44, and the first fitting 32 is further provided with a second engaging structure 46 (see fig. 4 for the second engaging structure 46) adjacent to the second portion 38 of the first fitting 32, and the second engaging structure 46 is detachably connected to the first engaging structure 44.
Preferably, one of the first engaging structure 44 and the second engaging structure 46 is a protrusion,
Here, taking the first engaging structure 44 as an example of a protrusion, the protrusion defines an installation space S (as shown in fig. 3); the other of the first engaging structure 44 and the second engaging structure 46 is an extension member, and here, the second engaging structure 46 is taken as an example of an extension member (this portion may be matched with fig. 4), and the extension member may be used for being mounted (e.g. inserted) into the mounting space S to support or abut against the protrusion.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, one of the first connection feature 40 and the second connection feature 42, for example, the second connection feature 42 includes a space 48, and a guiding section 50 and a locking section 52 are disposed in the space 48 and adjacent to the guiding section 50. Preferably, the guide section 50 includes a sloped surface or a curved surface (as shown in fig. 4).
Preferably, the second plate 30 further includes a first mounting feature 54 (shown in FIG. 3), and the first fitting 32 is further provided with a second mounting feature 56 (shown in FIG. 4) for removable interconnection with the first mounting feature 54.
Preferably, the first fitting 32 further comprises an auxiliary member 58 adjacent to the second portion 38, and the auxiliary member 58 includes a first auxiliary portion 60 and a second auxiliary portion 62 bent with respect to the first auxiliary portion 60, and the first auxiliary portion 60 and the second auxiliary portion 62 are connected substantially perpendicular to each other, for example, but not limited thereto.
Preferably, the second snap feature 46 is disposed on a first auxiliary portion 60 of the auxiliary member 58, and the second mounting feature 56 is disposed on a second auxiliary portion 62 (shown in FIG. 4) of the auxiliary member 58.
As shown in fig. 5, the first side wall 22 is connected between the first plate 28 and the second plate 30. Wherein the other of the first connecting feature 40 and the second connecting feature 42, for example the first connecting feature 40, comprises a head 64 and an extension 66, and the extension 66 is connected between the head 64 and the first plate 28; on the other hand, the second connecting feature 42 includes the space 48, the guide section 50 and the detent section 52.
As shown in fig. 5-8, the space 48 is configured to provide access to the first connection feature 40 (shown in fig. 5) and the guide section 50 is configured to guide the head 64 of the first connection feature 40 (shown in fig. 6) to the detent section 52 (shown in fig. 7) during the mounting of the first fitting 32 to the first plate 28 and the second plate 30, so that the first fitting 32 can be snapped onto the first plate 28. In addition, the user can press the second portion 38 (e.g., the rear portion) of the first fitting 32 downward in a first predetermined direction D1 (e.g., from top to bottom, as shown in fig. 7 and 8) to mount the second engaging structure 46 of the first fitting 32 to the first engaging structure 44 of the second plate 30.
As shown in fig. 9 and 10, in this embodiment, the first mounting feature 54 of the second plate 30 is a predetermined wall or wall having a predetermined shape or profile, and the second mounting feature 56 of the first fitting 32 is a resilient portion (or arm); in other alternative embodiments, the first mounting feature 54 may be a spring (or spring arm) and the second mounting feature 56 may be a predetermined wall or wall, and thus, is not limited in implementation.
Preferably, during installation of the second portion 38 of the first fitting 32 to the second plate 30 in the first predetermined direction D1, the second mounting feature 56 contacts a wall 70 of the second plate 30 to accumulate an elastic force F (shown in fig. 9) until the first fitting 32 is in an installed position (shown in fig. 10), the second mounting feature 56 releases the elastic force F such that the second mounting feature 56 is blocked by the first mounting feature 54 to prevent the first fitting 32 from being disengaged from the second plate 30 in a second predetermined direction D2 opposite the first predetermined direction D1, such that the first fitting 32 is installed to the second plate 30 (shown in fig. 10).
Preferably, the first fitting 32 further includes an operating portion 68 coupled to the second mounting feature 56. When the first fitting 32 is to be removed from the second plate 30 and the first plate 28, the user applies an operating force K to the operating portion 68 (shown in fig. 10) in a direction opposite to the spring force F, which causes the second mounting feature 56 to be moved such that the second mounting feature 56 is no longer blocked by the first mounting feature 54, allowing the second portion 38 (e.g., rear portion) of the first fitting 32 to be lifted toward the second predetermined direction D2 and away from the second plate 30 (shown in fig. 9), allowing the first fitting 32 to be removed from the second plate 30, and then the second connecting feature 42 of the first portion 36 (e.g., front portion) of the first fitting 32 can be disengaged from the first connecting feature 40 of the first plate 28, e.g., the head portion 64 of the first connecting feature 40 is disengaged from the catch portion 52 of the second connecting feature 42, allowing the first fitting 32 to be removed from the first plate 28 (see fig. 5).
It can be seen that the furniture and the components thereof provided by the embodiments of the present invention include the following features:
1. The first fitting 32 and the first plate 28 are detachably connected to each other through the first connection feature 40 and the second connection feature 42, wherein one of the first connection feature 40 and the second connection feature 42 includes a space 48, and a guiding section 50 and a locking section 52 are disposed in the space 48, such that the other of the first connection feature 40 and the second connection feature 42 can be locked to the locking section 52 by being guided by the guiding section 50 after entering from the space 48. The detachable connection of the first fitting 32 to the first plate 28 is simple in construction and arrangement, as compared to the prior art, which requires a spring or actuator, which meets the market diversification requirements.
2. When the first fitting 32 is mounted on the first plate 28 and the second plate 30, if the first fitting 32 is to be removed from the first plate 28 and the second plate 30, the user can release the connection between the first fitting 32 and the second plate 30, and then release the connection between the first fitting 32 and the first plate 28. It is convenient for users. For example, the head 64 of the first attachment feature 40 can be allowed to disengage from the detent 52 of the second attachment feature 42 upon removal of the first fitting 32 from the second plate 30, allowing the first fitting 32 to be removed from the first plate 28.

Claims (10)
1. A furniture assembly comprising a first panel and a fitting, characterized in that:
The first plate is arranged with a first connection feature; and
The fitting is provided with a second connecting feature for detachably interconnecting with the first connecting feature, one of the first connecting feature and the second connecting feature comprises a space, and a guiding section and a clamping section are arranged in the space and adjacent to the guiding section;
Wherein, when the fitting is mounted on the first board, the space is used for providing the other of the first connection feature and the second connection feature to enter, and the guiding section is used for guiding the other of the first connection feature and the second connection feature to the clamping section so that the fitting can be clamped on the first board.
2. The furniture assembly of claim 1 wherein the fitting includes a first portion and the second connection feature is located adjacent the first portion.
3. The furniture assembly of claim 2, further comprising a second plate, the second plate being arranged with a first snap feature, the fitting further comprising a second portion opposite the first portion, and the fitting further being arranged with a second snap feature adjacent the second portion, the second snap feature being for interconnecting with the first snap feature.
4. A furniture assembly according to claim 3, wherein the second panel further comprises a first mounting feature and the fitting is further arranged with a second mounting feature for releasable interconnection with the first mounting feature.
5. The furniture assembly of claim 1 wherein said fitting is a rod.
6. The furniture assembly of claim 1 wherein the guide section comprises one of a bevel and a curved surface.
7. A piece of furniture comprises a bottom plate, a first side wall, a second side wall, a first plate and a second plate, wherein the first side wall and the second side wall are respectively positioned at the left side and the right side of the bottom plate; the first plate and the second plate are respectively positioned at the front side and the rear side of the bottom plate, and the device is characterized in that:
The first plate is arranged with a first connection feature; and
A fitting comprising a first portion and a second portion, the fitting being arranged with a second connection feature adjacent the first portion, the second connection feature being adapted to detachably interconnect with the first connection feature, one of the first connection feature and the second connection feature comprising a space in which a guide section and a detent section are arranged adjacent the guide section;
Wherein, when the fitting is mounted on the first plate, the space is used for providing the other of the first connection feature and the second connection feature to enter, and the guiding section is used for guiding the other of the first connection feature and the second connection feature to the clamping section;
Wherein the second plate comprises a first mounting feature and the fitting is further arranged with a second mounting feature for releasable interconnection with the first mounting feature; one of the first mounting feature and the second mounting feature is a resilient portion.
8. The article of furniture of claim 7, wherein the second panel is arranged with a first snap feature and the fitting is further arranged with a second snap feature adjacent the second portion, the second snap feature being adapted to interconnect with the first snap feature.
9. The article of furniture of claim 7, wherein the fitting is a rod.
10. The article of furniture of claim 7, wherein the guide section comprises one of a bevel and a curved surface.
